Thank you. It was hard for them. She was young, only 68, which is young these days. My husband went with him to the funeral home to help him with the arrangements. They did not have plots or any plans for this type thing. We don't either.....something we should sit down to do.
She was well loved. She had over 1,000 attend the funeral and with it being Christmas eve day that speaks volumes of her character.
I guess I had better go and get ready for church. I am running slowly this morning. Can't seem to get moving. :) Must be the new year. :)
I'm sure it will be delicious with that wonderful sauce. How is your dad? And how are you?
What sauce?
The custard. I call anything liquid that gets put over food a sauce. LOL
Thank you and Happy New Year to you.
Thanks for the photos.
Thank you Wolfstar. It's not hard to state something when you have such wonderful people as your inspiration. :) Happy New Year to you too! Health to all Freepers in 2006.
I love cold meat of all types with mashed potato and pickles (beetroot, walnuts, dill pickle (gerkin/wallies) and of course pickled onions.
Hi homemom. It's tomorrow and I'm here to say Happy New Year to you.
Put it in a blender!! My idea of ham salad is slices of ham with lettuce, tomato, celery, grated carrot etc with of course coleslaw and potato salad.
Bóg b³ogos³awi¹ wy! (God bless you!)
Bog zaplac
LOL--I'm honored (and extremely flattered!) that you would alter your schedule like that :)
And congratulations on going back to school. How long will you be going?
Thank you :)
Lovely read, that poem by Kipling. Thanks.
That picture of GW throwing the strike...John Kerry eat your heart out!
That was my reaction too :)
Hello jonny! :)
you would alter your schedule like that :).......Well of course I would. I wouldn't dare miss the most entertaining thread of FR! That would be such a square thing to do.
And congratulations on going back to school. How long will you be going?
It should take me a year to finish. Just in time to go back to teaching. It will be strange to work away from home. A little sad too because that will mean all my younguns' are all in school. My youngest starts kindergarten in the fall. I will be crying like a baby. :)
Just my luck. I just get home and get back on the computer and now someone else needs it..!! Oh well see all of you again later.
