One would assume that Israelis would also agree that they'd like Palestine wiped off of the map. So? Are the Palis the only ones you consider 'nuts'?"
The word and concept of "Palestine" was devised by hateful idolators who wanted to erase Judaism and exterminate all of the Jews. Most people in the world now participate in the same kind of effort. I wouldn't call them "nuts," but
evil,
genocidal,
dishonest,
cowardly, and
insidious might be a better words.
From
palestinefacts.org, "A Brief History of Palestine":
. . . the Jewish state was ruled by puppet kings of the Romans, the Herods. When the Jews revolted in 66 AD, the Romans destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem (70 AD). The Bar Kokba revolt between 132 and 135 AD was also suppressed, Jericho and Bethlehem were destroyed, and the Jews were barred from Jerusalem. The Roman Emperor Hadrian determined to wipe out the identity of Israel-Judah-Judea. Therefore, he took the name Palastina and imposed it on all the Land of Israel. At the same time, he changed the name of Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina. The Romans killed many Jews and sold many more in slavery.

Well, we know that regardless of whether there is any history of an ancient "Palestine" (I have never read of it but then again I might have missed it), but if the Israelis were to pack up and go elsewhere, does anyone believe that the "Palestinians" would have the intelligence and other wherewithal to operate the advanced infrastructure that is Israel?
I didn't think so.

A senior Palestinian official says Palestinians share the sentiment of Iran's president that Israel should be "wiped off the map," or at the very least, moved to Europe. It is well past time to end the "Road Map" fantasy, dismantle the P.A., deport most of the Arabs, and have Israel annex the entire West Bank.

The only cause the Palestinians serve is the death and destruction of the innocent. They have done nothing during the 40 plus years I have been alive on this planet. Nothing good that is.
When will the U.S. stop bankrolling the Palestinian thugs with hard earned taxpayer dollars forked over under penalty of imprisonment. I am Not a person who doesn't believe in paying taxes. I just hate seeing the money being thrown down the toilet so that it is used to buy weapons that kill innocent people, sometimes even citizens of these United States.

I wish that somebody would challenge these terrorists to produce a map of the ancient world that shows a country called "Palestine".
That or a modern one without all the lands of the Cananites. I seem to recall a divine command to wipe that land free of the inhabitants and as yet it hasn't been fully complied with.
I'm not even Jewish but I'd be willing to sign up for a crusade just to help em out.

In November, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad threatened to 'wipe Israel off the map.'
I don't think he has the OO to try it."
I think you are correct. Israel now has a strong anti-ballistic missile defense and offense. Iranian leaders know that a nuclear attack against Israel would be the instant end of all radical Islam (not to mention Iran and Syria being wiped out and resulting radioactivity in several Arab countries).
Iran will bully western Europe, instead, and the threats against Israel are probably a ruse. There's much more for Iran to extort from western Europe and much more power to gain by Iran's attacking it.
New Iran missiles can reach London

It looks like Netanyahu will be the prime minister of Israel fairly soon. And it wouldn't surprise me if one day he just has enough of the Jihadist crap and decides to permanently remove the threats.

Thank you for the documentation (Mr. Mojo) and personal knowledge (Dan Evans) that refute my opinion. Israelis do, on the whole, want to co-exist with a Palestinian state. It is unfortunate that the news we get is so geared to the hotheads, on both sides.
I really appreciate being corrected when my views err.

Or one that shows Lebanon or Iraq or Iran or Saudi Arabia or France or Germany or Turkey or most any country that we know today. Should everyone in those country be subjected to deportation?
To: grania
Israelis do, on the whole, want to co-exist with a Palestinian state Correct, because most of them realize there's no other viable option. Obviously the status quo is unacceptable, and detrimental to Israel in every conceivable way. So the only other options are mass transfer of millions Palestinians to Arab states (which unfortunately and for a variety of reasons can't happen) and the option Sharon and Bush are now pursuing -- giving them a state and hoping it calms down the crazies enough so we can conduct the WOT without this perisistent distraction.
But, if Palestinian terrorist orgs continue to terrorize Israel after statehood is granted and it's obvious the elected Palestinian leadership has done little or nothing to try to stop these attacks then Israel is both morally and legally justified to clean out that rat's nest once and for all. And considering the high percentage of nutballs in their population - 65% of Palestinians Support Al-Qaeda Attacks in the US and Europe - who believe that Israel must be "wiped off the map" whether or not a Palestinian state ever becomes a reality, this scenario is a strong probability.
