PLANS to fly Australian flags over the famous Bondi Beach pavilion were vetoed because of fears the symbols could incite more racial violence on Sydney's beaches.

In a decision met with outrage from locals, returned servicemen and ethnic groups, Waverley Council voted 6-5 against the proposal, declaring the popular beach should remain clear of flags to "remove provocation"...

This was not a judge, it was the city council for Bondi beach area in Sydney. These are elected people like some cities have in the USA. Virtually all religions are banned from public schools in the US. You will find in some schools, however, that islam not only has avoided this ban but they have "enticed" the schools into providing prayer rooms at tazpayer expense for muslims students, as well as, allowaning for them to perform their rituals (what they call prayer....where they imitate the rocking seen in psychiatric patients) during school. One small step at a time....just examine the history of islam in ALL of the muslims countries and you will see the same pattern. It's just a matter of time unless our government grows some testicles.

I watched Showtime's brief series, Sleeper Cell, which aired around Thanksgiving. The main terrorist character made a prediction in it -- that within 50 years all public schools in the US would close for Ramadan.

Although the series was fictional, that statement unnerved me -- considering the direction things seem to be going and the placating that seems to be in progress toward Islam.
