He didn't used to. He used to be very well informed and was known for being kind of a news junkie. I'm wondering if since his heart sugery, he gave up watching and reading the news like he used to.

I like Bill too much, I've had it explained to me why people on here don't like him, but I just don't get it.
Letterman's audience is stupid college kids trying to look cool, and tourists who can't think of anything else to do in NYC. Letterman himself is childishly immature to the point of mental illness, and probably hasn't read a newspaper in his life. I'm not a big O'Reilley fan, but I would have liked him to really drop the bomb on letterman and tell him just how ignorant he is.

Actually Letterman mad an ass out of himself. He is absolutely not the sharpest knife in the drawer. O'Reilly let him hang himself with his own words, and then spanked him where it hurt most. Letterman is fuming with hate for Bill O'Reilly and GW Bush. He has seen his best days!!! He is both skewered and fried!!! Letterman is now nothing but an empty suit!!!
The Hollywood woman, whoever she was, made a total ass of herself claiming there's no liberal bias in hollywood and defending letterman's childish actions.
Letterman said that we shouldn't have gone to war on flawed intelligence but why do they always turn the debate to this point , its moot?
Iraq was breaking the UN resolutions; Iraq was trying to shoot down on planes in the fly zone, and paying suicide bombers. Saddam's war regime had a history of attacking neighboring countries and mass murdering his own civilians, so under the authority of the leftists own charter the UN the US not only had the right, but as the most powerful member of the UN, the US had a moral responsibility to do something.
Flawed intelligence.. yea but perhaps Letterman and is audience are the only ones with that problem.

They probably think Letterman is an idiot and wrong for implying that it's ok for Sheehan to call the people that kill their friends and her son, freedom fighters.
I would think they're really pissed off about his stupid remarks about mother cindy.
They're probably thinking that ol' Dave is just another knee-jerk, empty suit, showbiz lefty. And one who has very little in the way of facts, information or moral grounding to support his lame opinions.
Bet they are thinking about watching something else.
