Planned Parenthood Targeting Minority Children, Watchdog Group Says

(CNSNews.com) - A pro-life advocacy group is accusing Planned Parenthood of targeting Latinos for abortions.
The American Life League's STOPP International said Planned Parenthood continues to push its abortion agenda through a network of more than 800 facilities nationwide - including more than 200 facilities where abortions can be obtained and 595 other locations that distribute products that cause early chemical abortions.
STOPP's new report noted that 30 percent of Planned Parenthood's 825 full-service clinics are located in three states: California, New York and Texas.
"The high Latino population in these states gives a clear picture of Planned Parenthood's current target market," said Jim Sedlak, executive director of STOPP International.
"Since its founding in 1916, Planned Parenthood has focused its efforts and programs on minorities," Sedlak added. "From its 'Negro Project' of the 1930s to today, we see evidence that the abortion chain works hard to prevent and limit the births of minority children."
The Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) website says it "welcomes everyone - regardless of race, age, disability, sexual orientation or income. It says its affiliate health clinics "provide culturally competent, high quality, affordable health care to millions of diverse women, men, and teens every year."
PPFA's website also says that trained counselors at its clinics are available to "discuss your options - adoption, parenting, and abortion. Your counselor will try to make sure that no one is pressuring you to have an abortion," the website says.
Sedlak said one of the surprises in this year's survey was the growing number of Planned Parenthood "express clinics."
Planned Parenthood websites described them as places where "clients who are short on time and do not require a table examination can quickly pick up their birth control medication or get contraceptive advice."
Sedlak said such storefront operations mean low overhead and "killer profits" for Planned Parenthood.
"STOPP's newest study clearly exposes Planned Parenthood's true agenda: making millions of dollars by selling sex and killing children," said Sedlak.
STOPP conducted its latest nationwide survey of Planned Parenthood facilities between Sept. 15 and Dec. 5, 2005. The group says it has put together a plan for defeating Planned Parenthood that has been used successfully in hundreds of communities around the world.
Planned Barrenhood likes putting its franchises where the "brown people" live, in the great tradition of their esteemed matriarch, racial eugenicist Margaret Sanger.

Yep. I think that more then 60% of these pregnancies end in abortion.
Baal worship. Blood must be its sacrament.
Dittohead, Snow Flake, and Bushbot, so what of it?
Those liberal white elitists know what's best for minorities. That's what their propaganda claims, anyway. Why, they've even placed 85% of their baby slaughtering factories in minority neighborhoods - " For their own good" - or so they say. They refer to it as "Freedom to chose" ( i.e., life or death for their children).
Just sticking to their charter.
No point in putting them in gay/lesbian neighborhoods where they are useless, I guess.
Wait a minute, I detect the hand of Karl Rove in this, suppressing the future Democrat vote. He thinks of everything !!!!
:END SARCASM
Then all the minorities would die of disease.
The minorities just can't win in liberal America, can they? It's taking them a long time to figure that out.
". . . affordable health care to millions of diverse women, men, and teens every year."
Although I may not agree with everything PP espouses, when I was a younger girl, PP provided affordable, accessible health services to me and my (not very diverse) friends.
Whatever that meant.
You're a moth attracted to the flames of racially based threads, aren't you?
Dittohead, Snow Flake, and Bushbot, so what of it?
What amazes me is that when Rush Limbaugh gives an example of aborting fetuses with a "gay gene" or Bill Bennett hypothesizes about aborting black babies (in each case, NOT to advocate doing it but instead merely to give people an idea about how horrific the idea of abortion is), these "lumps of tissue" suddenly become babies that the evil Republican bigots are trying to kill, in the minds of those who advocate doing it for real.
I read his comment as something of a joke, given that gays and lesbians (given their propensity for same gender sex) would have little need of abortion services. Are you sure you read his comment thoroughly before responding, or do you 2 have history?
To an extent, yes. Specifically the ones where I know the liberal position is going to be exposed for what it really is.
Dittohead, Snow Flake, and Bushbot, so what of it?
Ouch! There's more than a bit of truth in it. Of course, I know people well who are dedicated liberals. They're not racist. They believe themselves to be helping, including when pushing and funding PP. When trying to get along with them, it makes it easier to separate the results of their actions from their intentions. But cold truth can be beneficial.

Those states have 20% of the country's population and are big states. I don't think this revelation is particularly earth shattering. Cal and NY have some of the highest rates of people on welfare, which may correlate with abortions. dunno...
I do have to ask, by what methods are minorities FORCED into the clinics?
I don't quite get it, and certainly not the ship analogy. Are you saying that white women have the brains to decide on their own whether or not to have an abortion, but minorities do not, and so are Taken Advantage Of? I'm sorry to say that it sounds that way, although that can't be what you mean. Right?
