Georgetown University was built with a Catholic and Jesuit identity. This bit of information is proudly displayed on the school’s website. But like Bethlehem in Israel, that identity is quickly being lost to a radical strain of Islam, as a counter-terror symposium has been abandoned and a pro-terror conference has been confirmed. Indeed, one of America’s most prestigious universities appears to be under siege.
Fearing violent reprisal from militant Muslim members of their student body, the school’s conference center rejected an educational symposium being hosted by America’s Truth Forum (formerly the People’s Truth Forum), a non-partisan, fact-based organization whose sole mission is to educate the American people on topics of national security. In this case, the subject matter to be discussed involved the “Underlying Roots of Terrorism: The Radical Islamist Threat to World Peace and National Security.”

You're right. The book Infiltration documents how this sort of thing is happening everywhere in the country. And it's giving the Muslims exactly what they want.

Yeah, it amazes me how American Jews turn a deaf ear to what's going on outside our borders. Take Steven Spielberg: He makes a movie (Munich) that sets Israeli security forces on the same moral level as Palestinian terrorists. Incredible.
Robert Spencer's book "The Poltically Incorrect Guide to Islam....." does a good job of laying down the basics in layman's terms. When does the Crusade start 'cuz I'm ready.
Is expulsion not known to colleges?
If you have a student who cannot contain his militant feelings why cant the college simply expell that student?

Georgetown, like most Jesuits schools, ceased to be "Catholic" a long time ago. I personally know Catholics who don't even know that it's supposed to be a Catholic school. I am a graduate of two Jesuit schools and wouldn't give either of them the time of day, much less any financial support.
1.) Colleges and universities want the money the Islamists bring to the school and will bend the knee to get it.
2.) Most academics are abject cowards and fear a campus fatwa issued against them.
I have given up trying to talk common sense to my mother. She worships liberal universities and Dan Rather as the Source of all Wisdom.
I left the instruction of the Jesuits over 30 years ago when the worst you could say about them was that some of them drank a bit too much. A far cry from the Marxists and homosexual pedophiles that have taken over since.
Maybe under Pope Benedict some of these schools will be told that they need to take down that "Catholic" banner if they're not going to follow the rules.
You forget the cases where the liberal faculty is in favor of the Islamists.
