Before everyone thinks the latest AP/IPSOS poll showing the GOP losing control of the House is troubling, please look at the sampling figures which show they once again oversampled democrats by 12%.

This has become an accepted pratice now in the polling method now to oversample democrats. Most frustrating is that even when it is pointed out to FOX or talk radio people it is usually ignored.

Maybe it's being ignored in hopes it will bring out more Republicans to vote.

I'd say it overrathers than oversmaples. Too much honor for a mere underling.

The bias is worse than you suppose. Ipsos is a French polling firm that is closely tied to the government and ruling elite and notorious for its bias in French elections. Any poll with Ipsos involved should be regarded as unreliable and biased.

I don't care. Makes us work harder and them "surprised" when they lose.

oversampled democrats by 12%

And then the idiots believe their own falsehoods and wonder why things never turn out the way their bogus polling says it should.

Just ask President Kerry.

Oversmaples? There is only 1 place in the USA where things are oversmaples. Was this poll taken in Vermont?

Every poll in the last 10 years shows the Republicans losing at all levels AND they still win!

I'm just as pissed at the Republicans in DC for their spending habits as the next guy, but to think the solution to that is to put people in power who will spend 2x, raise taxes and surrender to the terrorists is absolutely preposterous. The media just always assumes that when people are "mad at teh Republicans," that they will vote in droves in liberals to MAKE THE SITUATION WORSE. No friggin' way!

Sorry for the typo all.

I do the same with Santa, I continually type "Snata". Really bad because I used to be in the wholesale Christmas business. lol

I had the moderator fix the title to curb the abuse!

Excellent info and counterpunch to the liberal wimps at AP and Surrender Monkies at IPSOS. This reminds of the horrendous oversampling by that idiot Warren Mitzkovsky on Election day where they oversampled Women and marxists on the East Coast. Good work mates.

Yesterday I posted info from a June 2004 Gallup poll, a generic one that asked this same question. At that time just about 4.5 months from the midterm election the Democrats held a staggering 23 point lead. We all know what happened in Nov. Generic polls are meaningless since when these same people are asked if they are happy with their current Representative about 65% say they are. This is way incumbents almost always get re elected.

It's like what Limbaugh said on Wednesday (I read the transcript). When reality doesn't match the exit polls, they believe the exit polls and question the actual vote. The dangerous thing is that that's when they start yelling fraud and calling for recounts and investigations.

IPSOS appears to be a really bizarre outfit, some kind of NWO worldwide PR manipulator.

Their website is here:

http://www.ipsos.com/

What, are we now having French internationalists do our polling for us? And releasing it through the traitors at AP?

The funny thing is that the moonbats use polls that oversample Democrats as proof that the elections are rigged to ensure GOP victories no matter who people vote for.

Keeps the goofballs bitter and discouraged, which is their default state.

Is there a history or glossary of such somewhere? I'm afraid I might used these precious terms incorrectly. (There's NOT? Not even a SMAPLE? I'm stuned! This is important! Hugh, even! I'm series! Uh oh, my beeber is going off...).

They pushed polled real hard for party affiliation.
8% independent is as outrageously low as the Republican numbers.

Lets see if they even respond to me.

Sickening bias.

I found it.

The hope of the left here is to always depress the vote of the opposition. Example: If you are going to lose, then why vote? Like the FL panhandle in 2000 when they called the election early for Algore. Also, if you are an undecided, being told to go vote for the winner might make you decide to pull the lever for them when you go in the booth.

The big problem is that all of this faulty data has been believed by democrats for the last 4 years and they have learned the hard way by losing elections. Lets hope that continues.

I live in the panhandle and had friends that turned around on their way to the polls because they thought it was all over.

That little trick didn't work in 2004! How wonderful could liberal policies be if they have to trick the public into accepting them?

If you also recall that in 2004 the early exit poll that came out said that Kerry would win. However, the sampling was of all urban areas and a disproportionate number of democrats polled (women, minorities, etc.) I read report thats Newsweak and Was. Post employees were high fiving each other when they heard this bogus news. Bill Kristol was the first to acknowledge this poll was bogus. By early evening it was apparent Bush was going to win and the faces got glum in places like MSNBC.
