Well, could it be something better than printing a barcode on your hand or head? :-D

Actually, I would acquiesce to a bar code tattoo long before I acquiesced to an RFID implant.

There is no conceivable circumstance whatsoever that I would even remotely consent to having an RFID implant or anything similar. No, i agree, there is not a single one. Take for instance aircraft in the military. Being a pilot for the USAF I know full well the accountability factor as to how they account for the people on board should a crash or shoot down take the aircraft out and thus the people inside. We have:
Dog tags
I.D. Cards
Flight Manifests
On board pieces of luggage and carry on establishing more evidence of the same
All of this is duplicated (except luggage of course) on the ground with various agencies. There are now extremely rare circumstances requiring more detail YET a few years back we were by FORCE obligated against our desires to give DNA samples which are housed in Virginia somewhere, so as to be "identified" if the "what if's" happened. This is the next logical step and only and extension of what some in government and most in the UN want.
The "trial ballons" have been floated in the military. You think there was a stink about that rotten anthrax vaccine there was even more resistance towards a chip implant. The microtransponder is just plain unnecessary. While I can see the arguments for the mentally retarded or Alzheimer patient who leaves their home and such and is found alive or dead the family would still be looking for them and in short enough order they would be identified but it is just a stepping stone towards "Requirement" under the false auspice of being better for all concerned.

Well, like I said, it is inconceivable that I would ever consent to having an RFID implant. If I were still in the military I would refuse any such orders and deal with the consequences. If it were required for transactions I would opt out. If it were mandated by law or became so extensive that life was otherwise intolerable I'd move out of the U.S. Quite simply, the only way that I will ever have an RFID implant is if I'm bodily seized, strapped down, and forcibly implanted. And even then I would promptly seek its removal by any means necessary - criminal if need be.
And if I ever woke up with something like this:
Then I would promptly cut it out. So, I don't know how many people I speak for, but there is no conceivable circumstance whatsoever that I will ever have an RFID implanted.

The object was to take samples of the cells of the buccal cavity of the cheek, but they were easy to falsify.

"...If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand..."
Revelation 14: 9-11
To: AntiGuv
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Revelation 13: 16-18

"...If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand..." Yeppers, but I see it coming. How else to track illegal aliens, terrorists and unaccounted for criminals. I believe the prophecy and I see what could drive it. So the question will be whether to accept (and be a law-abiding citizen) or reject and be hunted down like a criminal and lose all you have worked for. The material things you have accumulated are temporary but the punishment can be eternal. Life is full of decisions.

"be hunted down like a criminal"
Speak for yourself pilgrim. Beware when the hunted become the hunter.

Aside from all the obvious reasons elucidated on this forum for NOT doing this, here's another everyday practical one:
What does one do every time one or more of the many passwords most of us have changes?? Make an appointment with a surgeon to R&R the old implant for a new one??

I'm curious to know how an RFID implant could be designed or "shielded" so that it cannot be accessed by an unauthorized intruder.

Bwaahaaahaa. All I can say is don't falter. Stay true to your convictions. What happened to the prophets and apostles? They were persecuted and martyred.
