"Those like myself, who have chatted with you, back and forth, understand the rightful pride you have in your nephew."
The bible talks about being carefull with personal pride. But, I burst with pride for ALL our military folks. And as many of us feel, they are like sons and daughters to us all. This old fool must have shook hands with enough Marines in the past three years that some of their spirit has entered my soul. Thanks for your kind thoughts. They must continue to serve in harms way, but surely most of us wish they could all be on their home bases, ships, airfields, having a few cold ones once of duty. The other night I zoomed in on various areas of Camp Lejeune and Parris Island I had walked and drove using the google satelite package. Sort of brought a bit of moisture to the old eyes. Semper Fi to you and your past service Smoothsailing.

I love the TRUTH. I despise intellectual dishonesty.
Liberal protesters are not interested in debate for the purpose of finding the best solutions for America but to drown out the voice of reason.
What practical ideas have these guys come up with to defeat the people who wish to destroy us? Nothing. They just rant and moan, sophomores... they are part of the problem.

That phrase has an ominous ring to it. I suppose those who buy into this statist propaganda also break out in goose bumps whenever they hear that JFK quote: "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country."
It's more like something out of Orwell's 1984: "War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength."
