I keep hearing that some Republicans also took money - does anyone have the list? Brit Hume referred to the GOP participation yesterday.

It would just be easier to find out who didn't take the money. I haven't seen Vitter's name yet. From reading the article it looks like the money was spread out fairly equally between the two parties.
A list compiled by the Republican National Committee of Senate democrats benefitting from this "Republican scandal" includes 2008 Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton, who took more than $12,000 in tainted cash; and John Kerry, who raked in nearly $100,000 in Abramoff-linked donations.

This guy was handing out money to everyone.
At this point it is possible that I took money from Abramoff.
It was like a kick in the gut(can women use that expression?) to see McCrery on the list.
"Technically, Dean is correct. " BINGO! You are correct. And something about the thinkin' behind this arrangement stinks! Was it a play for Jack to say to the Repubs, "Better protect me guys!" Smells like blackmail to me!
My question is: Did no one stop to ask where Abrahamoff is getting all this money?
They probably knew better than to ask that question. They DIDN'T want to know.
I guess they assumed was a bagman, just as Lyndon Johnson was the bagman for Texas oilmen. It was this money that brought Johnson into his leadship position in the Democratic Party. That, not his "charming" personality.
This is impossible!! A Republican lie! The MSM has told me repeatedly that this is a purely Republican scandal!!
It is the will of Landrieu!
She is not of the body. She must be absorbed!
