Again, I find myself in agreement with everything you posted, especially the last sentence. :-(

The tax mechanism has done more to extend nonjudicial control over the people than any individual could have by attempting to usurp power. It has also paved the way for this corruption by both providing funds to spend and making special treatment available for those who could employ Lobbyists of Abramoff's style to influence the bestowal of either end of the tax process. Obvious and openly corrupt with a fig leaf of legalese for clothing.

That just shows how one can be busted more for being "Politically Incorrect" and insensitive these days than for actually doing really criminal things to other people!!!
