Many people gave Murtha the benefit of the doubt when he first started spouting off - because he had been a Marine for thirty-some years.

But last week when he said he wouldn't join today, and now this?! Hopping into bed with well known communists who have aided the terrorists in killing our soldiers is over the top. Murtha has gone over to the other side, without a doubt.

It's time to call his office and let them know what we think of joining up with a group that is funding our soldiers' murderers. We should also be contacting all our friends in the media, talk radio...

I think I'll call the PA Republican Party tomorrow. They just might want to read Code Pinks website and send out a few emails to folks in PA. Who knows they might even contact some of the PA media.

Murtha is not the "Real Deal!" Give him his due and credit for his service in Vietnam as a Captain of Marines.

He is, however, a "Political Marine Reserve Colonel."

'Nuff said?

I never thought I'd get to a point that I could with a clear conscience, disrespect a Marine Officer, but, since Murtha is not a "Real Marine Colonel," I have no problem with it. Murtha is a scumbag!

No offense intended to any other honorably serving Marine Reserve Officer. I, myself, am a retired Naval Reserve Officer, and have the utmost respect for all those serving in all branches of the Reserves and the National Guard -- except those who use their political connections to achieve high rank.

For example, Colonel Murtha, USMCR (Ret).

In MurthaWorld, the US military became worthless the moment it discharged John Murtha.

I’m finding it hard to believe he was ever a US Marine – even a reservist. Could someone have spiked his drink with some of that brown acid? Is it galloping geriatric senility?
