What about two mothers-in-law?

I'm not sure that polygamy will be the first problem that comes from legal queer marriage in this country. I think their next step will be father/son, mother/daughter marriage. What basis would their be to stop them if queer marriage is made legal? They couldn't produce children so the recessive gene argument would go out the window. Queer marriage has opened Pandora's box and if it isn't stopped soon I don't know where it will end.

The same-sex marriage will open Pandora's box in the following ways:

1. Polygamous marriages, so Muslims will have the right to have wives. They can only have four, unlike the Mormon polygamy which had MANY. Also, the ONLY Muslims who have more than one wife are EXTREMELY wealthy men and royalty (and that is often obligatory, whether they like their cousins or not).
We would see Dutch marriages proliferate. Who CARES what sexuality the women are? They're all boinking together. I BET there always drugs/alcohol involved. Who could LOOK at that piece of fat/bald shit and boink it stone, cold sober? Ugh.

2. Vice-versa. That won't be the gift women think it might be. They would have to "take care of" more than one husband. Think of the picking up, clearing up, cleaning up, laundry, flatulence, cooking ("what's for dinner?" times four!)....and think, o gawd, think of the IN-LAWS to deal with. A woman would have MORE than one mother-in-law. The paychecks wouldn't make up for having to boink'em ALL.

3. Homosexual marriages with more than two people.

4. Multiple partner marriages.

5. THEN would start what is available in India -- that is, CHILDREN marriages, or 11-12 years olds getting married to each other or to older spouses.

The Farsis (southern India immigrants from Persia hundreds of years ago) are the only ones that allow all marriages. Father-daughter, brother-sister, etc. But, even for them, mother-son marriages are out of the questions. Who knows why that remains.

It's all abyssmal selfishness, egotism, self-absorption and self-indulgence, with absolutely NO regard for children's needs.

No ~ if you haven't gotten out of Nederland yet, it's too late for you to ever expect to fit into America.

Lol. Does that go for ALL Dutch? The children and teenagers? The 20-somethings? Wow, you condemn all. That's a sweeping generization.
Also, it's my belief that people CAN change. It's never "too late" for people to change their hearts. But, then, that's my read on people.
And, I can see all kinds of people "fitting" into America, even the Dutch.

Naw, it really is too late for them. I'd say the cut-off point was somewhere about 1980. After that, maybe a few, but probably not as many as 20 even.

The rest are hopelessly trapped in a Hobbesian nightmare where the elderly must be murdered to make life more comfortable for their kids with jobs.

We can't take the risk of letting any more of their kind in.

I know this is going to be upsetting to many people here who have been in the habit of thinking of the Dutch as "our kind of folks" ~ after all, we might have an ancestor or two who boarded a boat at Schiphoel (before they filled it in to build an airport), and it might seem inconceivable the folks in the old homecountry have deviated all that much, but, alas, they have.

We already have difficulties with people in Oregon, and then there's Dr. Kevorkian and his crowd who tried to take down Michigan. There's little justification for letting in any more such folk at such high risk of becoming a public danger to the rest of us.
