My bad. Libertarians tend to make the same points that sane people intend as preposterous sarcasm. You understand my difficulty, right?

For the most part, America's National Drug Control Policy has been a success.I guess it depends on how you define "success". If you define it as "failure", you'd be closer to the truth.
To: cryptical
Actually, I think you are confusing the word "control" with "eradication."

Democrats say the same about the WOT as they do the WOD. Lets just give up on both I guess, since they aren't instantly defeated forever.

No problem. Next time I'll include a ~sarcasm~ tag.

Sorry, I don't buy into your circle jerk rationale.

ah yes, that old bit..... Name one child that says.... my daddy is a better daddy when he is high on pot.

It just occured to me why the usual WOD suspects have not descended on this thread the way they normally do: They don't want to call attention to it.

The Boulder County Drug Task Force announced Thursday it had arrested 10 people in connection with selling drugs on or near the Pearl Street Mall, including Jeff Christen-Mitchell, a Libertarian candidate for Boulder County Commissioner in 2004. 2004, obviously that means he lost. What a shock. After he gets out maybe he can run for dog catcher.

Wouldn't a liberaltarian be morally opposed to dog catchers?

In reality they aren't that principled. It would give them another elected office to crow about.

To date, what is Liberaltarianism's greatest triumph? Is it a former pro wrestler being elected of the only state Walter Mondale took in the 1984 presidential election?

LOL...my niece is going to North Texas now...she parties pretty hard...
We didn't party much when my husband went there...it was after he got back from Vietnam...and I don't know that Fry Street was like it is now...
Of course....when I grew up...Boulder didn't have the Mall that his article is about either....just an old downtown area that was pretty deserted once the Crossroad Mall opened up...

He just turned 21 last August....so it's very cool to go to a bar. His 2 older brothers did the same thing....until they realized, "Wait..I have no food money, no gas money, no date money.." Amazing...thank goodness the novelty wore off!
Classes start..today! Only 3 more semesters and NO MORE COLLEGE! HOORAY!

Democrats say the same about the WOT as they do the WOD. Lets just give up on both I guess, since they aren't instantly defeated forever. If we're as successful at the WOT as the WOD, by 2030 they'll be setting off a car bomb a week in Manhattan, and they'll be assuring us that we're winning the war.

What are they major differences between Reform and Libertarian? One rolls their own and the other likes bongs?
