I don't know if Nagin is a mulatto, but the reason the blacks hate him is this - He SUPPORTED George W. Bush and was a registered Rebpublican!

"Mayor Ray Nagin, who had contributed funds to George W. Bush's presidential campaign in 2000 and who was a registered Republican until a few months prior to the 2002 mayoral election, sided with the oil companies and wealthy developers."

That is why he is always saying contradicting this like NO being a "chocolate city again - and then it being lily-white again! lol!

Chris Rock said he wouldn't date any black woman who's skin color was darker than a brown grocery sack.

We ask black people ... It's time for us to come together. It's time for us to rebuild New Orleans — the one that should be a chocolate New Orleans,"

Well, they haven't done it yet, have they? What's stopping them? It seems they've just been sitting around waiting for somebody to do it for them.

""Next he'll be talking about licorice people."

I like the RED licorice sticks myself."

That would be the city of Baton Rouge.

That's a real good point. And it doesn't look like it'll be anytime soon, either.

When we rid this country of race baiting politicians is when this country will move forward. You can't have it both ways (Nagin, Jackson, Sharpton, Clinton, Byrd, all democrats), either 'All men are created equal' or they aren't?

It is comforting to see more and more black leaders (Rice, Steele, Powell, Thomas, Williams, and many more) speaking to the issues that the democrats, like Hillary, are using them because of their race.......

Hate to be a party-pooper but don't hold your breath:

"There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don't want the patient to get well."
