Mark Belling locally is very good, like Coors beer, he loses something when available nationwide.
To: GrandmaC
I agree. He's very knowledgeable and articulate.
He's actually too good for a society that doesn't very well handle the truth administered so poignantly.

No one has mentioned Buchanan. I like him and Bennett. Most of the rest are good too, but it is so true about getting in a word edge-wise when one of the left-wing liberal crack-heads gets started.....

I agree. Peter King has really emerged as a strong and straight-talking guy. I find myself nodding in agreement and cheering him on whenever I hear him respond to something in the news. I'd like to see him get more opportunities to do so.
Didn't he jumped side during clintooon impeachment???

Rush Limbaugh, Dennis Prager, and Mark Levin. Each with a different style, each devastating.
To: Jungle Fever
Not Rush, he is the greatest conservative professor.
Not Reagan, he was the greatest conservative President.
As a debater, I would have to vote for Coulter.... She cuts no slack.
To: Cobra64
Charles Krauthammer would be terrific. Very solid and people listen when he speaks; similer to William F. Buckley.Since Buckley is pretty much retired, Krauthammer is probably the most brilliant political thinker around. He is a great debater even though he has to fight to control his stuttering.

Yeah but El Rushbo doesnt heads up debate people, so hes out of the running. Its Reagan by a landslide, again.

Can't think of any that particularly impressed me
Given your side's theatrics this past week, James Stockdale beats the shiite out of all of 'em. I feel so sorry for you clowns, as you scratch your nuts and heads at the same time, wondering what went wrong...

Buchanan is the best conservative debater I've seen yet.
To: Jungle Fever
VP Dick Cheney, Newt, Bill Bennett, Tony Blankley, Bill Gillespie... but my top vote goes to Bill Gillespie--his debating skills won him the RNC chairmanship, and for good reason.
To: danamco
Yes, but I think perhaps he's atoning for that now. I imagine he regrets that decision very much. It doesn't make him less of a debator now. However, I do suppose I'm too darned gullible sometimes. I believe in the basic goodness of people and then end up being fooled and let down.

Alan Dershowitz is one of the best and smartest debaters in America. He typically disposes of his opponents with ease.
Mark Levin wiped the floor with him. I would take Mark Levin against anyone, anytime.

I have never noticed Charles stuttering. His mind and logic are impeccable. When he is on FOX with The Gang, there is a hush in the room. They all know that he has a mind like a steel trap. Ergo, no one ever challenges his logic.

Let me say again. I appreciate the fact that she has a great disdain for liberals. But, sometimes her comments do not reflect the intelligence quotient I'd like to believe she possesses. She can be so "flippant" and evasive in her replies when challenged; when with a little thought she could chew up her opponents and spit them out.
I don't claim to be the brightest light in the harbor but I'm not in the media spotlight.

From what I've seen here on FR, I think there is a lot of freepers who could go head to head with the best the libs have to offer...and hand them their head.
