Turley says we have been pushed deep into a constitutional crises. The scourge of the Consitution is a maximum leader. This is going to be sickening.

ROFLMAO..........they're in the BASEMENT again!

GEEZ. You'd think they could rent a decent meeting room someplace.

Lawyers Question Evidence in Terror Case

Washington (AP) - Lawyers for an Islamic scholar and a Fort Lauderdale computer programmer want federal judges to determine whether evidence used against their clients was gathered by a secret domestic spying program.

Jonathan Turley, a George Washington University law professor, said Wednesday there "seems to be a great likelihood" that Ali al-Timimi, a northern Virginia Islamic cleric convicted for exhorting followers after the Sept. 11 attacks to wage war against U.S. troops overseas, was "subject to this operation."

Attorney Kenneth Swartz of Miami said he wants to know whether any evidence was gathered by the National Security Agency without a warrant and used to convince a secret court to authorize six years of wiretaps of his client, Adham Amin Hassoun.

Turley is picking up the Bushitler line. Why would he lend himself to this farce?

He may or may not be conducting a tutorial, but Jonathan Turley's very presence at this "pretend" hearing is offensive to me.......I had thought him better than this. He's now on my list along w/Bob Barr as no longer admirable.

His clients are terrorists.

Got it. I think he just jumped the shark. He states conclusively that the President has broken the law and has exceeded his authority. The only authority he admits to is FISA.

That can be said of the rest of the so-called witnesses as well.

Congress cannot diminish the inherent powers of the Executive Branch. And vice versa.

I have a question. Is this the only event happening on Capital Hill today?

Or has CSPAN chosen this pretend hearing as the most important thing to cover LIVE right now.
