Family Pride has been recruiting participants for several months.

Good for them. Oh yeah?
You think those who practice perversion should be allowed to push a political agenda at a children's event?

On conservative chat rooms, some critics of Family Pride suggested the White House could make the egg roll an invitation-only event, as it did in 2003 when attendance was limited to military families.
I like this idea. Make it for children of the military only this year.
Or maybe a lottery, where families are selected from all over the country.

Why do they have to always cram their sexuality down everybody elses throughts?! This Easter Egg Roll etc. is for the kids, can't they keep their ...........out of it!
It's the wrong place and wrong time. If they want to bring their kids to participate fine, but don't turn it into a gay pride event.

"It's not surprising that the right would be against it," Chrisler said. "They are very clear about wanting to make our families invisible." No Jennifer, what we're "very clear" about is not wanting to have your lifestyles shoved down our throats at every opportunity simply for the purposes of your attempts to justify your own moral preferences. Just as we do, feel free to leave your gay lifestyle preferences in your own bedroom where nary a conservative gives a damn what the hell you do there!
When have you ever seen any of us, gay or otherwise, parading around forcing our "heterosexuality" down your throat in very graphic manners while running around in lingerie or otherwise depicting ourselves openly in a manner more suited to the bedrooom than Main St.
Here's one for you, how 'bout starting your own "Gay Easter Egg Hunt" somewhere else leaving the tradition of this one just as it is. Too much for you to bear, eh! I mean afterall, what would life in America be like if people not agreeing with you could actually do what most of America does in peace without your penny ante politics.

"Religious and political extremists who oppose our equality have targeted our planned participation in this event, saying we have no right to 'crash' the White House Egg Roll," Chrisler wrote to supporters Thursday. "That's not our goal," she said. "We simply want our children and our families to be able to fully participate in an event generations of children have enjoyed."
Liar. Liar. Butt's on fire! Firstly, the only "extremists" are these reprobates who act like self-centered crybabies, insisting that everyone look at them and embrace their foolishness. "Hey! Hey! Look at me! I want your attention! Pay attention to me! Accept me! Embrace me! Love me!! It's all about ME!!!" Self-centered fools!
Secondly, why announce this participation if the purpose wasn't to "crash" the Egg Roll? They knew darned well that announcing their plans would draw this response and then they have the audacity to cry about the "extremists"! I'm so tired of these people always wishing to force themselves onto everyone.
They should sponsor their OWN Easter Egg Roll and leave the White House event alone! They have to try and make it about them for everything!

I sincerely wonder how long it's gonna be before bestiality begins to take the stage as homosexuality has. Seriously!

How annoying. I could care less...lesbian, gay, bi-, whatever. Just stop with all the infantile grandstanding, get a life, and keep your orientation out of my face. It makes you no more or less significant than anyone else. Guess what GLBwhatever alliance? An event like this is not about how you you like your bread buttered, so get over yourselves. Good post. Or themselves "butt-ered."

Gay "families" are no more than a parody of normal families.
