I remember clearly the day I decided I can no longer abid the idea killing the unborn. It really does come down to that, doesn't it. Additionally, as a boomer I can look back and see the overall social degredation that abortion has facilitated. Sex without longterm consequences, loosening of morals and committments to families and values etc.

Absolutely prairiebreeze, the implications of abortion on demand on the moral fabric of this country goes way beyond just that of killing innocent children. How many kids get pregnant because they think they can just get an abortion. Then when they are about to do so, something tells them not to. This is a good thing, but they still have a very hard burden to bear, and the effects can be devastating either way. If they had just had some more moral guidance and stuck with abstinence, they wouldn't have to worry at all.
