It is a betrayal to her country, but Merkel has been a disappointment on the global war on terror. Perhaps she will come around, but I am not optimistic.
I agree.
I guess Germany doesn't have any politicians that have guts anymore and that's a shame.

I had forgotten about Schilling. The Abu Sayyaf claimed that he was CIA but the fact that he was/is a Muslim is certainly interesting.
