Hi Seattle I saw a little bit of the Seattle/Panther game - too sad for me to watch. At heart, I am a Steeler fan, but I tell you Seattle scares me. BUT, then I was thinking: Seattle was playing at home. Pittsburgh was not, and played very well.

Good point, huh?

Don't know about that. Had to take the bus to work a couple times, some kind of strike, I forget who. The usual 14 mile, 60 minute commute became two hours. That's the worst part of the city, getting someplace during rush hour. But, after hours it is a different town.

Hey, I've got 42, 42, 42....any advance on 42.......

You guys crack me up. Seattle beat the fifth seed and sixth seed NFC teams at home to make it to the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh beat the number one and number two seeds in the AFC ON THE ROAD to get there.

Don't feel too good right now. Pittsburgh's on a roll.

Yes, good point. Do I have my teams confused, or are Steelers one of the teams that supposedly plays well on the road?? :-)

Looking forward to the SB. I think it will be a good game.
May the best team win (of course, I think and hope that will be the HAWKS!).

You're probably right about that road stuff. Even tho I have "loved" the Steelers since Bradshaw, I don't keep up with the stats, etc.

Oh, I am looking forward to the SB too. We always fix a "special" coffee when Pittsburgh plays ie for good luck. Ha! I have NEVER been superstitious but it is fun to do these silly things.

Good luck to you, my CONSERVATIVE Seattle friend!

Ohhhhhh, you are really, really testing me! Do I help a fellow conservative by giving the secret, or do I help my team and keep quiet?

Ahhh, liberty and country come first!

I buy the one pot size coffee - brand is Millstone and flavor is Foglifter. Make and start drinking just before game. Works every time.

There is one problem however. We have a cat, Zoe, that sits on my husband's recliner. He is convinced that Zoe brings the Steelers luck.Go to pound and adopt a female cat. (Hee-hee)

All I know is that all year long people underestimate this team simply because they have never heard of most of these guys. Perhaps I am talking out of hope, but I really DO hope the Steelers themselves underestimate the Seahawks. I really do. Especially the defense. Someone should ask Steve Snith how good the Seahawks defence is. Or Jake Delhomme.

I'm with you! Like I've said before, I think everyone mis-underestimated the Seahawks, just like the President, and I hope they keep on doing it, especially the Steelers ;-)
