Brit Hume played it at the closing of his show. Try to catch the replay if you missed it.

I saw this earlier today. You should have seen the whole speech and the question/answer period. I could not have been more proud of my President!

Give it more time...it breaks up alot.
AWESOME!!! Thank you, Mr. President. He didn't want her to talk because it was a question & answer period. She has female relatives in the Iraqi Parliament. 'Bout darn time someone got a word in on the issue.

It's not an article; it's a video. If you're having trouble with the video at the ABC link, you can see it at http://www.thepoliticalteen.net. Just scroll down a bit once you get to that page until you get to the headline "Iraqi woman thanks President Bush..."

I don't think this woman was "Turkish". She said she was Kurdish and had relatives in the Iraqi government.

OK. Thanks.
>"Iraqi woman thanks President Bush..."
Did Bush say anything to her, or was he tongue-twisted?

Watch Brit's show at the very end. it was really cute.
It kind of reminded me of the lady who said that anyone that does not agree with the administration on the liberation of Iraq could all go to hell.
LOL, maybe GW was afriad that she would saying something like that.
He told her this is a question and answer period. The guy standing next to her pulled the microphone away from her and she tried to reach for it. She was smiling the guy holding the microphone was smiling and GW was laughing say, something like, No, no.

Reminds me of that scene in the first Gulf War, where a large group of Iraqi soldiers surrendered, and started chanting, "George Bush! George Bush!"

I wonder if the NY Times will run a story on that little give and take. Now, if there was a heckler it would make the front page.

President Bush was also darling in the way he handled her. I just loved it...and just loved how Texas he is...when I think about it all I can do is smile.
