NEW YORK Kanye West, with a crown of thorns atop his head, poses as Jesus Christ on the cover of the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone.
The outspoken rapper defends his brash attitude inside the magazine's pages, on newsstands Friday. He is also pictured posing as Muhammad Ali.

"If I was more complacent and I let things slide, my life would be easier, but you all wouldn't be as entertained," he says. "My misery is your pleasure."

Isn't this blasphemy? Can he be arrested for impersonating a good person? Can he be arrested period?
I can't put into words how much I dislike this clown.

Well well, even a stopped clock is still right twice a day...
Yeah, anything that makes an @$$hat like Kayne miserable would greatly please me!

Coward! Dress up like Mohamed, mention the porn thing and see how that goes over.

Should have posed as Mohammad instead. That way if some aggrieved Muslim maniac blew himself and this guy up you'd get a two for one deal!

Actually I find it amusing that he has to resort to this to get attention. Of course if one is bereft of talent one has to resort to other means. His attention-craving ego is quite evident "my misery is your pleasure". I'm sure he's suffering terribly, like having to wait too long for room service.

Kanye West is exactly like Jesus, but not for any reason.
But then again, Jesus said "whatsoever you do to the least of my bretheren, that also you do unto me."

Isn't this blasphemy? Yes. I thought he says he's Christian? If true, he fails to see the obvious conflict of interest. But he's blinded by the money, for the time being at least.
To: visualops
He's an attention whore and he really can NOT rap, so he needs to have a guest with him on every song he can for his own sake.
He is a good producer and being he slandered Bush, I am sure Hollywierd loves him.

Wow. That's very daring. Very bold. What a statement Kanye is making. This guy is the real deal. Maybe the Book of Daniel wouldn't have been canceled if Kanye had been playing the role of Jesus.
I'm just really impressed with the creative, fearless spirit this magazine cover shows.

I remember when Mel Gibson was talking about the film he made on Christ.
He related how he was complaining about all problems they were encounteriing during filming when someone told him,
"You don't expect to make a film about the Passion of Christ and not get a touch of it yourself do you?"

I wonder if we aren't starting to see the results of a sort of quiet but firm refusal to accept offensive efforts of the media and the entertainment industry - the cancellation of certain TV shows and the continued downward trend of readshership of liberal newspapers as recent examples. We conservatives may not be "screaming," but our opinions seem to be heard loud and clear in some venues.

Thank You.This is the same guy who said he was from the streets--his parents are practically the Huckstables, a doctor and lawyer.
As far as Rap music goes, if you're a fan anyway, he's very talented...but I'm tired of lame wannabe political commentary from rappers and rockers who can't string more than a coherent sentence together.
Rolling Stone used to be a smart magazine, whether you liked the politics or not. And while the still have a good article here and there, the mag is more of a fossil to me than a consistently credible (liberal) news source. Next month they'll probably have another half-nude celebrity on the cover.
