Wolf Blizer on "The Situation Room" reported that the republicans have more then enough votes for cloture, as many as 70. Looks like Kerry jumped the gun a bit too fast.

The game for the left is to heat up the hysteria among the pro-abortion groups and put the fence-sitters leftward. All reporting should be taken with this objective in mind, especially from the CNN or the broadcast networks. I hove CNN is right but there is not reason to think they are honest or unbiased in this. If it helps flip one senator, they will lie.

The agreement that Frist and Reid entered into provides for skipping the cloture vote, if conditions indicate.
