usmcobra,

Help me out here. I'm trying to think of an appropriate analogy. Do you think a footbal stadium filled with TPartyType fans would utter a single word of encouragement to their team? Or would they not even bother to attend the game? An entire stadium of mopes or an empty stadium?

That would definitley make for a losing season.

Picture this....

Superbowl sunday, a bunch of studenta gather at their teacher's house, not to watch the game or to even cheer their team on to victory, but to hear the teacher expalin how the game should be played, how a offensive lineman should block, and how actually playing the game is too dirty for real conservatives to play, and that the game was played better in the 1960's when the other side won.

Only after the students leave and find out the results do they understand what they really missed.

My hat is off to the DC freepers, not only have they stood their ground, but they've thrown Code Pink for a lost of fifty yards and taken away their ball.

That's smashmouth and in your face politics, asnd what is hurting Code Pink the most is that they believe that only they are allowed to play the game that way.

Code Pink intended to be in the face of our wounded soldiers returning from Iraq, seeding their minds with such depressing thoughts as "you were maimed for a Lie" in an attempt to turn them into a new generation of "Viet Nam Vets Against The War", as John Kerry once did with his lies.

The DC freeps decided that they would prevent that from happening by counter-protesting them, a radical idea for real conservatives.(mega giant rolleyes)

If I am to be called a radical because I feel we cannot let the the tactics the left used to "win" the Viet Nam war ever happen again, then I will proudly wear the name,

and if it means I'll be fighting dirty I'll do so with all the espirit de corps of a US Marine.
