I have not heard that lieberman was pro fillibuster only that he was going to vote no on Alito. I'd be very surprised if he would vote for a filibuster. Of course he is a dem so anything is possible.

LIberman will not vote for the fillibuster. He is actually the only Dem playing it smart here politically. Despite what the crazies at DU and Kos have to say they wont be able to punish him at the polls. Plus he looks principled to Repubs who will vote for him so a mad extreme liberal doesnt take the seat. Ditto for Landrieu who realizes she will have enough problms getting reelected without this vote coming back into her face. Alito is in. The big fight is the next one.What amazes me is Pryor from arkansas who is running against him next time
