This is what passes for intelligent debate on the left.

Meanwhile...Alito is confirmed today and Bush delivers a stellar SOTU speech.
Let the libs scream, yell, burn the flag and make fools out of themselves. They are helping to drive moderates away from their party.

What is it with lefties and mass rallies?
They love any event that subjugates the individual to the will of the collective.
Goofy buggers.

"We know that we stand at a pivotal time for our country, for our planet," said Tigard of the Metropolitan Community Church of San Francisco in the Castro."
... And that is why thankfully we have Bush and not Kerry as President.
Of course, Kerry did tell Tim Russert on Meet the Press that he would have done the exact same thing as George Bush. The protesters seem to have forgotten that :)

OK, I give up. Who the hell cares?

So the organizers estimated 4000 people.
I guess that means about 100 showed up and they just counted heads 40 times.

A similar, though smaller protest in Los Angeles tonight. Of course, it's at the top of tonight's TV news. They just had a woman protester saying she had to show up to "help fight the theocracy and the attacks on abortion."
These people are either crazy, or possessed.

I was supposed to go to SF for a seminar in June, but I turned it down. I have NO desire to give one red cent of mine to those whackos.

"I can't count all the reasons why I'm here," said Anna Asevedo... Not without taking your shoes off at least. And please, dumpling, please don't do that.

"Let the libs scream, yell, burn the flag and make fools out of themselves. They are helping to drive moderates away from their party."
In the 60s and 70s the democrats in elected office behaved with the expected decorum for such positions, with few exceptions.
Now the elected representatives are much closer to the street demonstrators, as far as the words they use in public speech.
This results in Dr. Howard Dean as their party's administrative spokesman.
And it is my fervent hope their words and behavior drive moderate democrats and indpendents away. They are still around, and Nixon dubbed them "the Silent Majority."

Your vote never counts in California. As evidence I offer the last two presidential cycles. They outnumber us 3-2 most of the time. Did their vote for Gore or Kerry elect any one? They have these things at the state capital every day. Once a year someone reports on one. It has been bothering their mind for several years now.

Another proof of why the Left is so unhinged, as Michelle Malkin is wont to say in her latest book.

Ya...Bush, step down while you're WINNING. Hahahahah, I love hippies! :) They're like little retarded basset hounds trying to work a flashlight by banging into their heads.
