Oops, the poll is actually about whether or not she should have been REMOVED from the SOTU speech. Yes, obviously.
Deported: 87%
Pretty amazing that half the country is now at the point where "Saint Grieving Mom" should not merely be escorted out of the building, but arrested to boot.
Already posted.
Been there; done that; can't do it again.
What did she do, exactly?
Gallows 67%
Dropped by parachute anywhere over Iran
You see the way they asked the question.?
She should have been IGNORED.
Simply amazing. What would be the response if a Freeper stood up at some anti war event and tried to shout down the speaker? 49% of this country are absolute idiots. She has NO right to attempt to disrupt an event. These people are complete scum
who is Cindy Sheen? related to Marty?
Referred to "What Not to Wear"...99.9%
Do you agree with the decision by Capitol Police to remove activist Cindy Sheehan from the gallery at the president's State of the Union speech because she was wearing a T-shirt with an antiwar slogan? * 215923 responses
Yes, such behavior is not allowed in that setting and is inappropriate.
51%
No, she was a legitimately invited guest and deserves to have her right to free speech honored.
49%
"removed" .... from the face of the earth.
I read on another site that her son wasn't in her custody much as a child and was not really raised by her. Do any of you know whether this is true and, if it is, can you give me a link for a reference to prove it?
Where's the coice for, "Yes, but not only arrest her, pull her tongue out by the roots and set her afire.?
Violated chamber rules by wearing a political statement t shirt.
Nah. Drop her in Venezuela. She's sooooo chummy with Hugo Chavez. Let him deal with her.
Colonoscopy 100%
Deported to Venezuela with Belafonte.
No, she should have been flogged.
Capitol police arrest Cindy Sheehan
Also a GOP congressmans wife was ordered out for wearing a shirt that said "support our troops".
Activist Sheehan arrested in House gallery
GOP congressman says his wife was also ordered to leave
"..House rules bar demonstrations in the galleries.
On Wednesday, U.S. Rep. Bill Young, R-Florida, spoke on the House floor saying his wife, Beverly, had been "ordered to leave" the gallery during the speech for wearing a shirt that said, "Support Our Troops.".."
How come 'committed to an asylum' isn't an option?
As I understand it, this rule has been in effect for many years, but the MSM is spinning it as if it were something new with the Bush administration.
Sheehan was a guest of CONGRESSWOMAN Lynn Woolsey. They're both Code Pinkos. Woolsey knew the chamber rules full well. This was set up on purpose to 1) embarrass the President and 2) manufacture another talking point about the "Bush Police State". This needs to be exposed.
BTW, didn't Code Pink disrupt last years SOTU?
I'd post the names of all the members, but Jim Rob would ban me for using excessive bandwidth.
Reminds me of Logan's Run "Carousel" scene.
Better question...
Why does anyone watch MSNBC?
Have a link that I can listen to online? Not near a radio, at the moment.
Bump. Right now its 50/50.
Ideology aside, that 50% probably don't think dress codes of any kind should be observed, they're probably OK with wearing flip-flops in that setting as well. Good grief!
Linked from Drudge. This hasn't just happened to Sheehan:

Voted and bumped for isolating lunatics like Sheehan.
Here is the link to his show (web site). Hope it works for you.

Thanks! BTW, I wonder if the pots-and-pans brigade --the nutjobs who were standing outside the Capitol, trying to "drown out" the SOTU by banging on pots and pans -- are mad at "Mother Sheehan" for stealing their thunder? Attention hog that she is, she's getting ALL of the attention, and I didn't see them getting any.

Gotta be a member to listen, apparently.
FLASHBACK: Man Wearing Anti-Clinton T-Shirt Removed from Senate Gallery at Impeachment Trial Wed Feb 01 2006 08:47:08 ET Cindy Sheehan, the anti-war activist who was removed from the House gallery last night before the State of the Union address for wearing a t-shirt with a political message, is not the first person to be tossed from a Congressional gallery at a high-profile event for wearing a political t-shirt. In the early days of the Senate's impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton in January 1999, a Pennsylvania man named Dave Delp was removed by the Capitol police from the Senate gallery for wearing a t-shirt that said, "Clinton doesn't inhale, he sucks." The Pennsylvania school teacher was yanked out of a VIP Senate gallery and briefly detained during the impeachment trial for wearing a T-shirt with graphic language dissing President Clinton. Delp, 42, of Carlisle, Pa., and a friend had just settled into their seats when four Capitol security guards approached them. Delp said at the time that he was ordered to button his coat and follow the guards. Outside the chamber, he was told "several people felt threatened by your shirt." Even after establishing that Delp was a guest of Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.), the guards wouldn't let him back in and escorted him to a basement security area, where they questioned and photographed him. After being given one of the photos as a souvenir, Delp said he was banned from the Capitol for the rest of the day. "They were polite and professional," Delp added, "but they really did scare me. I think I should have been given the chance to cover up."
Oh rats. Sorry.
Pots and Pans Brigade? Can they do anything useful with them, like cook? Or is that too "domestic" for them?
You know... the other thing about this is: If she was NOT removed, you can BET the world there was gonna be some photos of her promenently displaying her shirt, perhaps on TV (who choses the camera shots anyway?)
