In the past few days, Hudspeth County Sheriff's Department deputies and their families have received threats to stay off the Rio Grande. Sheriff Arvin West told ABC-7 Thursday morning, before departing for Houston that the Mexican military is behind all of this.

Sheriff West said, "There is no doubt in my mind -- from the first time going back to a couple of years ago and every time in between --- it's the Mexican military. In a nutshell, everybody's been trying to tell everybody that they were here...they've been here ...[and] they come here quite often, regularly."

Then give them your home and town and state. I'd like to keep mine.

The Sherriff needs to deputize a couple of hundred folks, take M16's and M203's from the TXNG armory, give a Safety/LOAC/ROE breifing and see what happens. The FED's shure as sh*t arent going to do diddly.
If something happens, the TX gov needs to roll some M1 Abrahams and put them on the border.
Enough of this crap.

In the name of self defense, kill a few of them so a connection to the Mexican military can be verified. God forbid if our Border Agents killed a few to protect this country from FORGEIN INVASION.

Unlike many here I do not have a hatred towards the Mexican people. The Mexican government is another story however. I can not blame a man for wanting to better himself and care for his family. All of my Mexican friends are hard working people.

In case you hadn't noticed, we are at war with Mexico. At the present time we are being occupied. What do you call land where tens of millions of Mexican nationals are squatting? The U.S.? Hardly.

You know I never thought about it that way. We are occupied! If we start bombing the illegals, will the EU support us like they do the Palis against the Israelis?

No, the Republican's will NOT build it when it costs them some votes!

They will be out of office and the Lib's will welcome their newfound voting base with open arms.

So... That means it is okay for the Mexican Army to cross the border to help drug dealers because they speak Spanish?

The Republicans will lose control of the House in November, at least I hope, otherwise they will continue following the path of the Socialist Dims.

Not sure if we are ready for a war with Mexico or not but this I do believe. We will be at war with Mexicans before very many years pass. With 10, 12 or 15 million illegals already here and more coming everyday, I can't help but believe that the illegals will attempt to take over small communities and then branch out. American citizens are going to be in a real war with them before long. With the present mindset of the Federal and most State governments it is doubtful we will get much help from them. Mexico isn't going to invade us. They already have.

Someone needs to send this to our clueless senators, Hutchison and Cornyn. They are supposed to be upholding law enforcement in Texas, and these local LEOs on the border should not have to face down the artilery of the Mexican army several times a week. I've given up on Pres. Bush, but Texas Republican politicos who are running in Nov. better get with the program or they'll be looking for work after the elections.

Right. Puss Perry won't even look at this as a 12th man situation, even though it's a five alarm situation.
