I think I'm ill. These people are entirely demented. Why are we not standing with Europe on this? We should be able to make common cause finally. Defend the values of the West and free speech etc.. This is basic to our civilization, not liberal or conservative. If we can't stand against barbarians threatening to kill us over cartoons I don't know what it will take...

I've been a moderate voice with regards to dealing with Muslims. While I continue to believe it is wrong to round up everyone believed to be Islamic without any evidence of personal wrongdoing, I'm reaching a point where I have no problem rounding up and interrogating anyone who shows up at these protests holding threatening signs or shouting blatant threats. They should be rounded up, their homes and offices searched, and they should be put on watch lists. In addition, they should be registered like sex offenders as they are just as much a potential threat to their community.
These protest show muslims are like liberals: freedom of speech for me, but not for thee.
Maybe the Dixie Chicks will see this and catch on that THIS --- armed thugs demanded death to reporters --- IS censorship.

Probably one person in the crowd was able to spell well enough to write them. Most rallies have people who hand out extra signs. I'm not doubting their veracity just because the people in the pictures are wrapped in keffiyas, waving fists and burning Western flags. Their position is clear even without the signs.
You'll see, sooner or later. There's no dealing with these people. There's going to be no 'compromise' with 'moderates'.
It's going to end up being all out war. And it is the islamic side's fault totally. What more proof do you need than 9/11, Munich, endless bus bombings, Beslan, Hamas winning in PA, and now this cartoon nonsense?
All these muzzie faces in these picutes remind me of the demon faces from the movie "Devils Advocate".

I find it interesting that almost all those signs were probably written by the same person (the writing is almost exactly the same). I do have to wonder if there's a setup there, or maybe a Photoshopping? It's hard for me to get my head around somebody marching around in public with a sign saying "butcher those who insult Islam"...I guess my civilized upbringing automatically wants to assume that it must be a joke because nobody could POSSIBLY be serious in saying that.
Or, maybe the one literate one in the group had to do all the signs for the 100 that can't read or write English.

I don't think they all were, although the handwriting is very similiar in several.
