Thanks for confirming..weren't you stunned also..? I was blown away..<>
...I caught AGAG on Brit's today, and he looked like the proverbial cat that swallowed the canary...very confident..and as I said..Babbin , IMHO would not be going public with this unless encouraged to do so...there's more afoot here..I expect..happily..
Will you be starting a live thread on Monday? If you do, please PING me. I love to read stuff like this, but as I will be at work, I may not have all day to try to find the thread. Thanks much.
I suspect you are right. After reading all the commentary to this post, I wonder if we may be misconstruing one more gigantic 'rope-a-dope' on the part of the Administration. At least I hope so.
I say that because there is no doubt that the AG is pursuing an investigation, beyond his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Also, the fact that Porter Goss and John Negroponte made it clear to the Intelligence Committee this week that the NSA leak has hurt ongoing investigations is proof that the Administration takes the leaks seriously. The just filed suit by Iman Ferris' attorney to obtain NSA wiretapping information against his client simply supports that contention. And the President's willingness to 'talk it up', whenever possible, has helped to expose the Dems for what they are; the anti-war, anti-security party.
I, for one, intend to simply sit back and see what unfolds. I believe the fact Babbin's information has become public serves a purpose. We may not know for months exactly what that purpose is, however I do believe we will find out in the 'fullness of time'.
Let's enjoy the show, folks!
