Several former Clinton administration officials are among the group of “scholars of constitutional law and former government officials” who...

[completely ignored and deemed benign the fact that the Clinton White House illegally authorized the pilfering of over 1200 FBI dossiers of prominent citizens for purely political purposes....WITH IMPUNITY.]

Rep. Carl Levin is on FOX now badmouthing Bush's efforts to protect us? He thinks the Pres. broke the law by listening to overseas phone calls.

Rep. or Senator Levin??

And it would seem they moved to goal post again rgarding the comment of listening to overseas phone calls

How soon they forget. Waco and Ruby Ridge are two of the greatest outrages to ever take place in modern America.

They sound like a bunch of scary cretins with this fist pounding on THE RULE OF LAW. What? They think we don't know about selective prosecution and plea bargaining? Give me a break!

The Democrats are angry they lost power. Rather than examine their own shortcomings, they point the finger at everyone else and play the blame game. It is a mental disorder within the Democrat Party. Some of those Democrat Senators need psychiatric help. Maybe some Democrats are not taking their medication!

If you even claim to be a Democrat, you should be on meds.

Maybe Senator Levin and his paranoid Democrat collegues are afraid someone will hear him calling his friends in other countries making shady deals.

Half of all Democrats are insane, the other half has very low intelligence problems.

Instead of starting this way:

"Several former Clinton administration officials..."

It should start off this way:

"Several former officials of the impeached Clinton administration..."

It's fun to look up the cases cited for Presidential power (or lack thereof) and see what the fact pattern was.

So far, I've only looked at Myers v. United States - the Postmaster General refused to "be fired" by the President, asserting that based on statutory language, it took an Act of Congress to terminate his assignment.

Wikipedia has a good summary of the case, but it's no substitute for the lengthy review of the notes from the Constitutional Convention regarding this particular balance of powers. The Court in Myers v. US was split, 6-3, with dissenting opinions filed by McReynolds, Brandeis and Holmes.

The case itself is an outstanding read.

This is why I thank God for the Internet. Their lies and inconsistencies can be brought to the light of day where Americans can see the harm they do to their own country.

I agree .. because even the FOX money shows have the liberals with the same talking points - "Bush broke the law" - but they cannot sight which law he broke - or how they know he broke the law.

It's actually the same method they used for the war - removing Saddam was okay - we just needed to do it THEIR WAY - BUT THEY NEVER TOLD US WHAT "THEIR WAY" WAS.

Now, it's okay to spy on terrorists - but we just have to do it with FISA (so the dems can find out what we're doing). But .. they don't want to stop the spying - because in truth - the dems know this is keeping us safe - and they would rather get us killed than give Bush credit for anything.

And .. when democrats were spying on AMERICAN CITIZENS like Alrich Ames and Martin Luther King - the democrats thought that was okay - and the dems were not using FISA to do it either.

We're spying on TERRORISTS who are calling people in America (not necessarily American citizens) - and the dems are having a cow!

They ALWAYS use the term domestic spying. They always leave out the foreign suspected terrorist across the sea on the other end of the call..

Tony Snow interviewed a gal this morning that ripped the dems talking points apart.

She said the dems took their cue from the ACLU - and the ACLU has never looked at the evidence - and has only made their usual knew-jerk reaction.
