Mccain has every chance (and likely the best chance) of keeping another Clinton out of the White House, however. The media owns John McCain. They created him and they own him. President John McCain would call the MSM to ask for permission to go potty.

Doesn't matter. Both parties are the same. One lies better and doesn't run from a fight.

Again, the Republican kingmakers are going to push McCain down our throats. And while I helped campaign for George Bush in the last two elections, I won't do a single thing for John McCain. Not the least of which I wouldn't vote for McCain if the GOP put a Hillary Clinton to my head.

I don't think McCain will make it. There's still two and a half years to the nomination and it would not be a huge shock if his cancer reappeared.

If you want to define the path of the Republican party based on what the stupid Democrats may or may not do, you have already conceded defeat.
McCain has no chance at all really, but go ahead believing the leftist sycophants in the media, they really know and want what is best for Republicans... NOT!

McCain is the candidate, I stay home. No more Dole's, thank you. Actually, I have respect for Dole. Can't say that for McLame.

Reagan was in far better health...and younger, than John McCain.

I voted the Constitution Party last election because I saw how liberal Bush was.
Unless the Republicans can come up with someone better than McPain, I still go Constitution Party.

How does he win when Democrats vote for the democrat and Republican stay home?

I like George Allen, but I fear his star has fallen lately. Right now, unless Condi runs, I am picking a dark horse: Mitt Romney.

Well that makes one of us. I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils. If somehow the conservative wing of the Republican party begins losing big I can only hope that the people of this country will recognize soon after their folly and return it to power. If it takes Hillary to wake up the American public then so be it, I however don't think she can even win the Dem primary. And having said that I think all it will take is one respectable candidate in the Republican primary and McCain is toast.

I think it will definitely be George Allen in the top spot. The VP nomination may depend a lot on what states he/she can deliver. I like Pence, but it may be somebody with more name recognition.George would be just fine with me and so would Jeb Bush. In fact, George and Jeb, or Jeb and George would be fine with me, both men of physical stature. We need real men like this to tower over the short, fat old hag if the Demorats run her.

Allen hasn't even really started campaigning yet. He is giving one of the main speeches at CPAC this weekend (I believe he is speaking right after Cheney), this may give a good indication of where things are going.

I hope it is George Allen. It is freightening that Bush people would sign up with someone so closely tied to George Soros.

There is absolutely NO WAY the country will go for Jeb Bush being on the ticket in 2008.

McPain isn't going to win the Republican Primary. In 2000, he'll win the first few states as they have open primaries and the Democrats will cross over but once he gets to South Carolina, he'll be DOA yet again. After that, he won't win another state except for Arizona.

There was no way the nation would give Clinton a second term either.
