Oh that we would do it on both a state and national level. Then ask the so-called moderate Muslim citizens to denounce these thugs and have them call for their ouster! It won't happen, of course, since W still thinks Islam is PEACE.

Muslims can so forcefully make those statements and yet their obvious inability to comprehend that their beliefs are not universally accepted is astoundingly, well, stupid.

The world needs to start turning the table on muslims and start demanding that they recognize, understand and exemplify the beliefs of others. Try pasting signs in muslim neighborhoods that declare: "Our religion recognizes atheism and murder and suicide as mortal sins" and, "Jesus Christ is the only Son of God and muhammad was a human being who profaned Christ" and such.

Beach Blanket Crusades could be a major tourism industry over there.

Muslims who want to live under the Islamic Sharia law were told Wednesday to get out of Australia as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to Australia at a special meeting with Prime Minister John Howard, he and his ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown.

If every country in the world did this, the war on terror would take half the time ... and the future war with Iran would NOT have to take place. Calling all Europeans...

Can you imagine the outrage that would erupt from the left if George W. Bush dared to say such things here?

Dems are outraged when President Bush sneezes -- he might as well go for the whole ball of wax and get it over with. This is the right solution. Muslims who stay will have to rationalize it, Muslims who go will quit being a problem and those who "lie" can have heavy religious guilt trips laid on them -- plus they'll lack the community of like minded... It's a win-win-win.

Asked to leave.... drag them out side and throw them into the sea. Make their radical arses swim back to extremist land.

Who are we to tell Australians to take action that we ourselves are unwilling to do?

I get the idea they are always laying groundwork. Like busy bees, doesn't matter how long it takes to finish the job. I hope we're "eavesdropping" on every mosque in this country. The democrats can go pound sand. No Caribou Coffee for me. I do not wish to contribute in any way.

"I knew a guy in the early '80's who had a class 3, and a couple of full-auto weapons. He had no "special security need", or anything of the sort."

Interesting. Thanks.

Yes, agreed. And, I've never seen "Caribou Coffee" but appreciate the revelations about the business behind it and will share that with others if and when I ever DO see the stuff on sale anywhere (word-of-mouth advertising is still the most effective kind, people rely far more on the opinions of another human being even when they disagree with it, than they do on paid advertising in print and media, but when the opinion is first-hand, as in, a real human being beside you telling you what they think, it's the most effective 'advertising' there is).

I remember seeing the muslim "guru" fellow -- let's see, Depak Chopra -- on television on 09/12 and the weeks afterward and he was glowering and incredibly filled with hate at "people" who he said were "criticizing muslims" for the acts of 09/12...he wasn't sympathetic nor sad nor filled with grief nor even grief-aware at the destruction to the lives and our nation but he WAS glowering and even rather foreboding and hideous to and about humanity for "criticizing muslims" and "trying to hold all muslims responsible" for the events of 09/11.

It's as if he had/has no means to empathize otherwise. Up until that point, I'd fallen for his guru-iteness, even buying a book or two for the coffee table "to think" about at times of pause, thoughts and such...and promptly threw his book away after I saw exactly who he was on 09/12. A dark (in the spiritual sense) atheist reviling Americans for discussing the fact that the terrorists of 09/11 (and otherwise) were muslim...it's a reasonable and even necessary aspect to the discussion, is my point, but to Chopra's perspective, he was in "punishimg" mode because "people" were "holding muslims responsible." No tears, no sympathies otherwise, just total focus on that.
