1000 years of firearms.

They also have on loan from the Brits part of the towel collection.


I saw one of Colts first repeating rifles with the serial number of #2.

Our school thinks we shouldn't hear about guns

There are a lot of schools that way. Some are afraid of guns, others think the responsibility for teaching about them belongs with the parents. Still others have active firearms safety and marksmanship courses as part of what they teach.

We gave money to a high school here in Arizona to set up a 22 range next to their campus. The students use it, and they share it with the city's police and a sportsman's club. Everybody wins then.

We thought so, and so far it has proven to be a win-win for the community. We actually funded a second grant request to improve the range the year after we helped them equip the school team.

Every year we have more money requested than we have to give away, so we have to be very selective.

That was one request we had no problem with.
