In Columbus, Ohio last week, NBC 4 television news reported on an area robbery. The thieves targeted a bank employee and one of them explained to her, "This is all George W. Bush’s fault. He screwed up the economy. We just need gas money for the car."

The day after the President was reelected one of our local companies laid off 150 workers. One of my coworkers told another "It's all George Bush's fault". As if a Kerry victory would have cancelled the layoffs. Never mind that the upstate NY job market has been dying for 18-20 years.

Why didnt the crooks just go over to the Gas station and rob President Bush directly.

Seems to me he runs all the gas stations in America so why didn't they just face him down with their big bad guns?
