The DNC needs to keep Cindy from being exposed as a kook. Maybe they threatened her but I can't think that they'd actually reveal what the right has known all along. Also she may be unaware of the hardball techniques the despots in the DNC will use. Push her out of the party and she may talk.

Remember that there were faithful Democrats who believed with all their hearts that Bill Clinton was innocent of the affair until he went on tv and said that he had done some things.
