The last session was "standing room only". If there were no snowstorm, where would they have fit everyone? :-D

Your comments on #120 are outstanding. Yea, big government is getting to me too. But what continues to bug me is (1) spending and (2) our open borders.

See you at a bar.

Thanks Bill. I hope this new year finds you and yours well.

Borders and spending are major issues for me too. With the compassion that abounds today and passes itself off as conservatism demanding more government, they will remain at the top of both of our lists -- or at least until we are not allowed to speak out against them.

Yeah, like that will keep either of us quiet.

So when will we have that next drink? It's been quite some time since the last one. I have not decided yet, but I may be in your neck of the woods (Penn's Woods, that is) at the end of March for the PA Leadership Conference.

Bob Barr left the reservation a long time ago.

Also, why are the only people willing to defend our open border policy COC flunkies and restaurant owners?

Doesn't this just serve to demonstrate the intellectual vacuity of their morally and intellectually bankrupt argument?

Not that their brief was any less persuasive than the one proffered by that nitwit Tamar Jacoby, I'm sure.

Why on earth do conservatives allow that obnoxious liberal to monopolize conservative platforms?

The ACU has been infiltrated by Norquist and Barr and who knows who else.

Keene has proven to be a huge disappointment, especially post-9/11.

I don't know who he thinks he's representing, but it's certainly not conservatives.

Norquist, for his part, is beneath contempt.

I'd as soon see him deported to Saudi Arabia.

I'm sure he'd enjoy that.

Keene means well, but he is entrenched.

CPAC is so formulaic that no one has noticed that a few shingles are missing from the roof.
