He is also WRONG: Scooter Libby did NOT say Cheney told him he could leak that stuff.

Some comedy before the show starts:
Howard Dean: Bush administration "more corrupt" than Nixon's
BOSTON --Howard Dean raised the specter of Richard Nixon Friday, calling the Bush White House "more corrupt" than Nixon's with even more dire consequences for the nation.
"When Richard Nixon mislead the nation and obstructed justice he was harming the system of justice and the respect for the presidency," the Democratic National Committee chairman said. "But this administration has done more than that. They have leaked military secrets in a time of war in order to fulfill their political agenda."

Will there be a daily Olympic thread?
I hope there is...
Sometimes, it's good to take a break from the war on terror and the cartoon jihad.
Go team USA and team Norway :-)
Cheers.

I am sure I will be. Hey, I am stupid sometimes.
But hey, I am going to be leaving my computer to be with my girlfriend pretty soon, so I will just have to see the comments later.

I'm not real interested in the doings tonight. I am on a SNOW watch! Just hoping the temperature will drop before our rain blows out of here. I'd LOVE to see snow fall in my own yard!

Yes, there will be; alisasny and I are going to be "handling" it, as in she's going to put up the MORNING threads, and I'll take over at night.
I don't DO mornings. :-)

Thank you! And I will watch for Erin. Can't speak for Laura Bush, though.
I did the same thing for Chad on Google, but couldn't translate it to here as a post the way you did.

I heard that the Ice Dancing competition is probably fixed. The Russian couple are apparently using block voting to keep the American couple from beating them. The American couple wasn't supposed to be at the Olympics due to citizenship issues (she is originally from Canada and was granted citizenship at the last minute due to Congressional legislation), so the fact that they get to compete has thrown the "agreed to" order into a tailspin.
Also, the fact that Slutskaya scores so well is pretty fishy; however, I don't think that her winning is ordained. Sasha Cohen could beat her if she skates a clean program; the problem is that she always "splats" during her program.
As for the entire Winter Games, I'm going to watch the Opening Ceremony, but I'm not excited about this Olympics as SLC or Athens. Unless the U.S. somehow starts hauling in the gold medals...
