Hillary for Prez Says Ousted German Chancellor

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, a fierce critic of the Bush administration, said Saturday that he's pulling for U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton to win the White House.

"I'd be very pleased if Hillary Clinton would become the next American president," Schroeder said to applause from a largely Saudi audience at the Jeddah Economic Forum, which opened here Saturday. "But don't quote me too loud. I hope I'm not harming her by saying that."

Schroeder made the statement during a discussion of global women leaders at a gender-segregated theater where a plastic barrier separated women from men.

Clinton, a New York Democrat, is up for re-election this year and is considered a potential presidential candidate in 2008.

Cut it out. Please wait until she is in the thick of the race, then endorse her!

Well, Gerhard, she's got more in common with a former German leader than she does with the average American . . .

"Oh please, get the Euroweasels to shout "Hillary Now!"

And get the Suadis cheering in response! And get in on video! And show it over and over and over again!

Hey! I was the first one with the obligatory tasteless Hitler reference! The title just screams for it.

They won't even let women and men sit together in Saudi Arabia and this guy is endorsing a women for the worlds biggest job. I smell Jihad.

If you are running for President of the United States, you just can't beat an endorsement from the Germans and the Saudis. Look for Hillary to run commercials touting this twin endorsement.

Tasteless is as tasteless does. You may have been the first with the reference, but I was the first with the graphic.

I know.

Like Schroeder had anything better to do anyway, right?

I think the one-liner is much funnier than the graphic. It's kind of surprising. It's one of my better efforts, I think. I'm going back to the thread to admire it again.

As if there weren't already enough reasons not to vote for her, here is another one.

"Schroeder, a fierce critic of the Bush administration, said Saturday that he's pulling for U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton to win the White House."

Now there's a endorsement she would rather not get. LOL.
Kind of one looser to another. Amen.

An endorsement, presented in Saudi Arabia, from a Putin toady who is abetting the neo-Soviets in dominating Russia's neighbors, intimidating Europeans, and undermining democracy where ever possible?

Did Rove arrange this?
