Like McCain, there are some out there who would vote for him because he rocks the boat but he can never get the conservatives to vote for him because of his weaseliness(This word is only grammatically correct when refering to John McCain.)

He tried to move the country toward social security reform and ANWR and less mideast oil dependence. You can't get much more conservative than that. McCain-Feingold is small potatoes and will be forgotten in history, as will be Specter's election.

McCain, OK. But Guiliani, maybe. Read his book "Leadership" and see what you think. He IS a social liberal but on the things that a POTUS has real influence on, I can't think of a better man than Guiliani.
