Lance Armstrong vs. Sheryl Crow: George W. Bush to Blame?

Lance Armstrong and Sheryl Crow have said all the right things so far as the speculation for their break shifts gears. One tabloid even examines that it may be President George W. Bush's fault as Lance is a Bush fan while Sheryl is a Bush basher.
The Star details that a friend of the singer said they knew the bust up was coming.
"Sheryl said Lance didn't just support Bush, - he'd go off and fight if the President asked him too.
Bush and Armstrong in Aug 2005

***
Recall Crow sported a "War is not the answer," tee-shirt last July and Lance answered by biking with Bush in August of 2005. (photo left)
Other theories from Keeping Tabs:
--"Lance dumped her," Us says plainly, and most of the tabs agree.
--InTouch says the cyclist has tried to end the relationship four times since September.
--The Enquirer says he's always had cold feet.
***
The 'Bush did it' is classic. Some folks will blame Bush for anything.

Bet he can leap from tall buildings too. :)

The 'Bush did it' is classic
Yes, What is not commonly known is that Bush really shot the lawyer on the hunting trip. Chaney is just taking the rap officially.
One thing you can count on, from too many mosquitoes in Mobile county to Hurricane Katrina; is that Bush did it. Unless of course it is good, then Klinton did it and it just took this long to come out.
To: mcg2000
I slipped on the ice.
It must be Bush's fault!!

Okay. It's official. The word "bushsfault" needs to be added to the dictionary.
Bushsfault - n. def. - Anything bad that happens in the world can be blamed on one man, George W. Bush.

That's right...EVERYTHING can be blamed on Bush...WTF is the crazy, delusional, left going to do when he leaves office... They'll either keep on blaming him (after all, Richard Nixon has kept them occupied for 30 years) or find anyone else with the word "Republican" associated with his or her name.

I've dated several liberal women since the 2000 elections and they all seemed the same to me: nice up front, but once you got them talking, there was an inherent mean-ness and anger to them. Not just in politics and the President, but in most topics they didn't like.
To: mcg2000
Well, I never liked her but she is kinda good lookin'. So he nailed her for a while.
Now he'll move on to some starlet or stripper in her 20's.

And alhtouth I liked her, if Sheryl is nothing but a typical lefty, then I am glad the thing is done. They saved themselves a lot of hurt.
Now, let's find him a nice girl. A conservative, gutsy, beautiful Girl. Mrs Coulter is single, Right?

How right you are. But sometimes a familiar ride with lots of miles can be enjoyable.
But not when it's been someone else's ride. Or many others as in Sheryl's case.
Yes, it's not just a rumor.

Is Lance truly a Bush fan, I wonder? I thought I read right here on FR, that he was a Democrat. My neighbor, a good guy, but a rabid Bush hater, is also a rabid Lance fan, never stops talking about how great Lance is. I'd love to find out for sure that Lance likes Bush.

Those jokes about eating Crow? Too funny and clever--THANKS!
To: massgopguy
You know this was one of the only times I felt bad to hear such news.
Even though I don't know them, I felt bad for both them and their kids.
Made me remember my disappointment when I was younger on another case.
That was when I got word that Pele was divorcing his wife.
I remember the exact same feeling of disappointment.

I'll bet Sheryl was steamed, the very idea that Lance would ride with Dubya, even if they disagreed on politics! I think, unlike the other 'blame Bush' garbage, this one might have some merit, and that's a good thing.
