Posted on 02/14/2006 10:09:50 AM PST by be-baw
I just heard from a local radio reporter (during Rush newsbreak at approximately 1:00 p.m) that Whittington "may have taken a turn for the worse," and was put back into intensive care.
Actually, I don't know. I believe that his brother is one of the local commissioners in Montgomery County, but I'm not sure.
Here in Texas, 'lead poisoning' simply means you've been shot with a bullet.
I was so mad, I typed be be instead of "ought to be" ...lol.
Tomorrow is Wednesday, I know very little other than the few leaks that have made it out. I hope it's correct that Luftus has the goods and is really going to reveal it; but I also think if he does he needs some body guards. Same with Shaffer, who is scheduled to testify for the Able Danger Hearings, guess he has been asked by the 'government' what he plans to say.
NO kidding? London was an expert nutritionist in Dec. on dayside?
Well, THAT is laughable, but her appearance today, was unconscionable, and lacked all medical ethics. It's had better be her last FNC gig as a medical expert of any sort. Charlatan.
I heard him on Hannity's radio show last week. He is a very impressive speaker.
"Part of their difficulty was that they had been in power for less than 9 months, compounded by an abbreviated transition period."
Due to Gore being an idiot and selfish and prolonging the election results.
Please give this Gore thing a rest. You are not being rational.
The only people living in a bubble are these idiotic reporters.
Quite unfairly, but voters are not really fair, particularly when the Democratic media go to work on them, as we can be absolutely certain they would.
In all sincerity, media reporters have a lower level of trust, honesty, and integrity with the American people than Congresspeople do. (One poll I saw some time ago, showed that Congress has something like 33% favorable rating overall with the American people). Contrast that with the Bush White House rating of something near 50%.
You're alright as far as I am concerned...lol. In fact, I loved your LUICD and thoughtful post regarding our VP.
Happy Valentine's Day to you.
I called London's office and gave me opinion on her views. The lady who answered the phone said, thanks I will let her know.
I also called FNC and let them know she has her own agenda, so she is not really fair and balanced.
Based on the findings of one major study, medical errors kill some 44,000 people in U.S. hospitals each year. Another study puts the number much higher, at 98,000.
What did O'Conell the a##hat say?
If I was McClellan I would kick this whole crowd to the curb.
I would like to see more of the 'new' media in there, like last week when Powerline managed to get in on the newsconfrence the Dems held and he asked the pointed question to Dick Durbin that totally threw him off his stride.
I mean, O'DONNELL the a##hat.
What did he say?
Prayers lifted for Mr Whittington, VP Cheney and their families.
When do we get to grade the media?
I believe this is the first thread I ever started that broke a thousand. Please pardon my bewilderment lol
If only it turned out she was a proctologist, and we'd all have the last laugh.
I hope someone made a copy of that Saddam tape.
Things tend to go missing when Dems are around.
Apologies for sounding conspiratorial. I can't help myself.
Mending his tutu.
I'm so glad you did that. I'm still fuming about her irresponsible remarks.
Most excellent. I was mad when I called Fox. I babbled... but husband called and he lit into then for hosting the quack.
You're not alone, which is why I'm nervous for Curt Weldon, the three firm witnesses (I believe he has three) as well as Luftus and whoever has seen his information.
Now that would be fun. I give them all an F except for Brit.
~LOL~ one of our dogs is a real TV critic and the other loves to step on the clicker and change channels.
Kudos to both you and Saint Doctor!
Nonsense. The only ones who are lathering about this are the DUmmies and the media idjuts.
Your hypothetical and hyperbole simply isn't warranted.
He suggested (asked) whether Cheney was drunk or drinking when he was hunting. As I said earlier, I only read others' reports.
O'Donnell, as far as I know, did not come out and proclaim that Cheney was drunk, from what I have heard.
But we'll see.
O'Donnell needed a straitjacket in the middle of last year!
My prayers for Mr. Whittington and to Dick Cheney.
His take: The Veep shot someone, didn't tell anyone and now the man is very sick.
Everything is A-OK . Howlin will be back online soon. She'll be babysitting tonight.
Thanks for the info. I was wondering how everything is.
Thank you. He usggested or pondered such. That's enough. I despise him.
Thank goodness. I've heard you aren't even to turn on a lightswitch when you smell gas. Thanks for letting us know, onyx.
I'm making a new recipe for dessert tonight (bread pudding) and am not sure I'll fit into that A-line (ahem) skirt tonight. LOL
It's banned for use in hunting waterfowl. Apparently, it's OK for quail (and lawyers).
A new study suggests that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's 1991 nationwide ban on the use of lead shot for waterfowl hunting has had remarkable success...
Please tell your hubby, thanks from me.
I have a feeling Howlin will be back to put up the nightly Olympic LIVE thread soon.
Everything is ok now. She could smell the gas leak as soon as she got out of her car. It's shut off now.
I see the DemonRAT Masters gave Harry his orders for this afternoon.
What a parrot....
That's good news! Glad everyone is safe.
I shall! Thanks. I think this is the first time he has EVER voiced a complaint, but this woman was way out of line. I want her reported, but he says he can't do that. Yet...lol.
Frist really needs to be pitted against her -- fair and balanced.
Now don't go south on me. In my mind, that comment WAS
lucid and I expect to be rewarded someday for original thinking.
Take another look at Texas Songwriter's post #751.
Everyone is safe. Grandma has it and them under control. :)
The title of the article
Lawrence O'Donnell: Was Cheney Drunk? Lawrence O'Donnell Tue Feb 14, 12:53 PM ET
Then it goes on to say:
The L.A. Times is edging closer to the most likely reason for the 18 hour delay in reporting that the Vice President of the United States shot someone:
"This was a hunting accident," said Gilbert San Miguel, chief deputy of the Kenedy County Sheriff's Office. "There was no alcohol or misconduct."
But that wasn't good enough for O'Donnell, he went on to add his take on what the Sheriff found:
How do we know there was no alcohol? Cheney refused to talk to local authorities until the next day. No point in giving him a breathalyzer then. Every lawyer I've talked to assumes Cheney was too drunk to talk to the cops after the shooting. The next question for the White House should be: Was Cheney drunk?
Then for good measure throws in this final insult at all Republicans who he finds repugnant:
I have never gone hunting with ultra-rich Republicans on a Saturday afternoon, but I have seen them tailgating at Ivy League football games, so it's hard for me to believe that any of their Saturday lunches are alcohol free.
