Whittington Back in ICU (FNC Reporting Minor Heart Attack)

I just heard from a local radio reporter (during Rush newsbreak at approximately 1:00 p.m) that Whittington "may have taken a turn for the worse," and was put back into intensive care.

"To be put in ICU in the first place indicates that the wounds were somewhat more serious than being peppered."
I wondered about that yesterday. If these were just pellets imbedded in skin or muscle, there would be no reason for the ICU. Apparently X-rays showed the pellet in the heart muscle. That can cause problems in the first few days, so they were being conservative and popped him into the ICU.

I had to say two things regarding this press conference...
First, the press DOES NOT LISTEN to the answers they are given. They ask questions about things that were already explained.
Second, they are rooting for this man to die. I hate to say that, but it is very clear that they are.

It's on the outside of the heart --- you have the heart itself, which is a muscle, then you have 4 chambers which are insdie of that muscle.
But you also have a membrane covering the heart -- my husband is thinking that a pellet lodged into that membrane and caused the inflamatory reaction -- foreign object in membrane.
He can't be certain, because all I am asking him to do is translate and interrupt what we're all hearing.

Yep, that doctor has had it with the press. I personally enjoyed seeing him go after the press. But his press associate knew it was time to cut off the questions.
