Posted on 02/14/2006 10:09:50 AM PST by be-baw
I just heard from a local radio reporter (during Rush newsbreak at approximately 1:00 p.m) that Whittington "may have taken a turn for the worse," and was put back into intensive care.
Yum! Thank you!
But why borrow sorrow? It's your perrogative to speculate to your hearts content, but I simply find it to be unproductive (especially given the positive medical reports as we know them so far) and a waste of time and energy.
Returning the due respect, I also find it to be a distraction to the thread. But we've been battling trolls all over these threads today and I suppose I'm just becoming weary of it.
I am NOT alleging you are a troll, btw. :^)
I hope you're one soon too! There's nothing so precious as grand children!
That will take a lot of beating with that snazola of his.
Since you're getting into cultural insults, "Deliver,"
it would be awfully tempting to stereotype you as a dumb redneck who isn't capable of reading a long sentence and understanding it.
But I won't do that. I'll just assure you that while I do eat lots of salad, it is not a matter of being opposed to meat on cultural or ethical grounds. It's because I am at high risk for cardiovascular disease. Also, it makes me feel healthier than my old, red-state diet did.
Other than that and a couple of other things, I'm basically a Middle American, more comfortable with most FReepers than with most "blue" Rats.
There are many, many people like me in California. Your hatred of California reminds me of the anti-Americanism abroad. While there is some basis for it, it is still basically irrational, and the haters should look in the mirror and ask themselves what it's really about.
Hate people for how they behave, not for where they live.
Good job, Starwise! THIS is the best FNC could come up with? She must be related to someone on the staff there.
If you ever get to SC, I'll make you some :-)
I heard on CNN that it was asymptomatic Atrial Fibrillation.
Hey Dinosaur Media, WE, the American Voters, understand that accidents happen. They happen to us all the time and NONE of your butt clowns in the Failed Media even notice. This hissy fit is making the Junk Journalists look stupid. It hurts the VP and the GOP NOT at all!
Right now the American people probably do understand the accident and it probably isn't hurting Cheney. But that's right now. Things can morph, however unreasonably. Again, my concern is based on the possibility of the medical situation going completely sour. We must hope and pray that it doesn't.
(small one preferably)
They could be 6'6" and still be small.
I am going to have to give you my moniker...for you truly are a SLEUTH!!!...LOL
There are no reasonable alternatives in the modern world, I grant you. But if it were me I'd be unreasonable and check out of the hospital, fibrillations notwithstanding. Almost everybody in my family has either died or had a close brush with death because of a hospital stay---something that would not have happened but for the hospital. So I'm sort of biased. :)
ME TOO, and their damn logo caused 'burn in' on my HiDef screen.
I googled and can't find any links to each other -- other than the obvious last names and politics; which is too cooincidental for my taste.

You are running headlong into a Zot!, CaliPap...what can I do to help?
