Nope, I hate the DUmmies as much as you do.
But hey, if someone sounds like a hater, I might just call them on it. It's still a usable word, even if the Rats do have a special taste for it.
Dense and partisan I can handle. Obnoxious, loud and rude, I cannot. I mute only the latter.
"Your post won't be the only place that theory gets floated, I think."
It simply amazes me to see that DU would adopt that conspiracy theory... it's insane how desperate some people are for complex explanations to simple events.
In this day and age of the new media, there's no excuse for being ill-informed, be it from talk radio, and the internet.
Some marginal paranoia. Another classic DUmmie trait.
"While some of the points do indeed reflect well on the Republican effort, they merely help to explain why Bush managed to eke out a victory."
That is a mutually exclusive statement, unless you think there really is a President Kerry. It was a historic win, by any measure.
Additionally, Rasmussen has had Bush on either side of 50% since forever. But you go right on sucking up the pap the MSM is feeding you, little boo-birdie.
"In other words, that the election was uncomfortably close, especially for an incumbent with a decent economy.
Talking about Gore in 2000 doesn't help your your paralogism.
Again, whatever I can do to help you with your Self-Zot pogrom, just let me know.
True dat. As I was out on my errands today, this Dr. London incident on Fox News reminded me of the "Lincoln" special that aired on the History channel in January.
In that abomination, they used Gore Vidal as a history expert! A man who writes historical fiction, and tries to pass it off as genuine.
You're right though. It's the shrill ones that deserve the mute. I actually don't mind hearing what the left has to say, even if it comes from Mara or Ceci. Mara is slightly more dense than Ceci is.
It's been obvious since yesterday morning that the press WANTS Mr. Whittington to die from complications of the hunting accident. The damned ghouls are just DROOLING for him to die so they can blame it on Cheney - AND fit the accident into the lefty Conspiracy theory du jour. Utterly nauseating.
I admit though, I sometimes look beyond the denseness and partisanship of Ceci. Her look is just easy on my eyes.
Me too...and have his heart meds checked. Seriously. Clinton MO: Clinton wants you to die quietly=you have a convenient heart attack, heart problem or not.
Speaking of body armor....Kerry. Where is Hanoi Johnnie Boy?
You're so right. I gagged when I saw Gore Vidal. I know he wrote a book, but who read it...lol? Gore ruined the entire documentary. Remember he said something snarky about President Bush?
That turns out not to be the case. One or more pellets migrated into a blood vessel and then quickly into the heart. This caused a very minor heart attack. But if you're 78, no heart attack is truly minor.
Rush Limbaugh's show.
Gore Vidal said: "A War on Terror? That's like a war on dandruff. Its not as serious as something like the Civil War."
Not really, depending on the meaning of "peppered" The shot did penetrate the skin, just didn't hit anything important, at least not right away. The guy is 78 years old after all.
YES, that was one of his snarky comments. Wasn;t there another in which he named PresidentBush?
The fat, obnoxious queer ruined the documentary for me.
Might be better if it where. Not much to hurt in there. If it's stuck in a vessel supplying the heart muscle itself, that would not be so good, and it would cause a classic "heart attack", although in the classic case it's a blood clot or piece of arterial plaque that blocks the vessel, not a #8 lead shot.
What is the literal size of the pellet?
Like a beebee or smaller?
David Gregory is now the top Democrat in the media. lol
Hey, I got the phone number wrong in my anger, on this very thread. :-)
LOL --- I reposted the incorrect number in huge bold, so anger got both of us...lol.
Dana Millbank is going to be sooo disappointed!
Thanks for the info. FOX is starting to stoop down to the level of the other channels.
Much smaller. About the size of a small bead from a piece of your wife's jewelry. Someone will post the diameter, I'm sure.
Was Whittington drunk and staggered into line of fire?
Dare I say it, but if Cheney does resign, that would mean another Senate confirmation hearing. Can you imagine that circus?
What committee hears it? It wouldn't be Judiciary since it's not about a judge. What happened when Agnew resigned and when Rockefeller died?
And what would be the chances of the Democrats stonewalling and playing hardball about "mainstream" because they're afraid of Bush's VP nomination's chances in 2008? Would they game the system and deny Bush his VP choice because they're afraid of its impact on 2008?
Maybe it's a bit premature to speculate... I'm sure Mrs. Whittington would appreciate our prayers for her husband's recovery.
OK...I was without TV all day today and only was on the computer briefly. I take it this Dr. London was some sort of a bogus expert who appeared on Fox? If anyone can elaborate so I don't have to go back and read the whole thread, I sure would appreciate it.
You're just drooling now.
Shoot-the-messenger is a classic behavior of idiots.
So is questioning a person's loyalties in the absense of any evidence.
I doubt you can "Stand and Deliver" anything worth hearing,
or worth doing.
I am the WIFE and he wouldn't dare give me small gem stones!
But thanks for the info.
" David Gregory is now the top Democrat in the media. "
I assume Democrat is the new euphemism for rectal orifice.
Shortly after the news was announced that Mr. Whittington was going to return to ICU, Huddy and Mikey had on a doctor by telephone, who used extremely inflammatory language. "A piece of his heart has died" and (I kid you not) "HELLO, this is not ROCKET SCIENCE"
She turns out to be Catherine London, a General practioner from Boston, in among other things, holistic healing, and a documented DNC supporter.
To add insult to injury, that blonde anchor who is on Fox later in the afternoon, interviewed her AGAIN!
78 y/os should be doing whatever they want as long as they are capable. You think a young person has never had a hunting accident?
Right. He's outlived the median lifespan for males. With no years of earning left, does that mean a jury in a successful Whittington v. Cheney wrongful death suit would have to find Cheney owed nothing?
Oh, thanks so much! I am not usually lazy about reading a thread, but I have had a LONG day of babysitting.
Read from here for about 10 or so posts
Then the research starts at post #348
Don't miss this excellent research by STARWISE
Thank you, ACR. I had just come back to my computer with the intention of "trying" to write PITHY to MM.
I will only add, that this Dr. London was outed here by cgk for being a regular donator to democrats!
She's the one ... and the lefty unprofessional who called Fox with her "expertise" for a cardiological matter, when she's a family physician. She's also a Skeery-ite, spoken at Heinz sponsored events and the daughter of a billionaire (former head of AIG. See my post #1090.
As I said before, it's hard to believe that Cheney was drinking anything because of his heart medication.
Plus ........ ex-Senator Alan Simpson was on with Pieface Spitball Matthews the other night and was very concise and direct about what a great shot and hunter Dick Cheney is. I'm sure he's never wasted when he's hunting. It's just not the good man's style.
These Democrats and reporters need a whipping.
It seems likely that the patient does not want to have contact with the press. Why would a sane individual put them self through that ordeal?
I am up to it!
"For pete's sake! It is not buckshot."
Sorry about that, I'm really not a gun type of guy so if I got the terminology wrong I apologize. I was just giving the link of news for others to see.
Did you see Lawrence O'Donnell of Scarborough last night? He evolved from 'probably' to 'was' drunk... the more he talked the more off the wall he became. I couldn't take it and honestly, at this point, just wait for MSNBC to go off the air.
Lawrence O'Donnell is out of control!
Agreed. The man is past due a padded cell.
