If Clinton had had a shread of decency for himself or for the country, he would have resigned.
And it is possible - plausible -- that 9/11 could have been avoided if Clinton had resigned and we had had a better national security team in place under a Gore presidency.

I've been watching Fox exclusively for the story, and I don't have any major complaints with them. It's pretty tough to line up experts on such short notice, but I give them credit for trying.
Frankly, I think it's fair to question why information is being released when it is. A guy got seriously hurt It's unfortunate that VP Cheney hasn't spoken to the matter directly, but I imagine he's pretty shaken about it. His office released a timeline today of where he was and when he was informed of Whittington's status, and a statement conveying the Veep's thoughts and prayers. Too bad he lost his Chief of Staff recently, eh?
I don't see any attempted obfuscation of the facts by the White House; however, the MSM will...I have a hunch they will try to accuse the White House of trying to cover up a serious injury to an old man. They will continue to show their irrational hatred of the Bush Administration...in a perverse way, it will be fun to watch them continue making idiots of themselves... ...but I'm still watching Fox until further notice.
