Hmmm. He apparently wasn't too drugged up to abduct, rape and murder Carlie. And let's not send the message that being on drugs absolves one of criminal responsibility. I say let him plead his case directly to his Maker.

Long, painful death for this monster.

I wonder if little Carlie begged and pleaded for her life...the judge should give him the same mercy that animal showed her.

Did you see him on tv. It was disgusting. Boohoo, I want to turn my life around. Boohoo, I want the chance to improve. Boohoo, I didn't know what I was doing. BULL! He knew exactly what he was doing and did NOT give Carly a second chance at life. He should fry - long and slow.

Agreeed. They're all very boo-hoo when it's time to pay the piper.

telling a judge he had taken large amounts of cocaine and heroin that day in hopes of killing himselfWish granted ... give him his dirt nap

Given the likely irrefutble evidence including not only the video tape of the abduction but likely his DNA from the rape, there should be no reason to drag out his appeals for two decades. A quick appeal and strap him down to the gurney. We can hope lethal injection is as painful as the liberals maintain.

The DEA agent who shot his partner to death tried the same argument vis-a-vis his alcoholism. Didn't work for him either.

I saw it. He was a sniveling puke. The judge should send him to his maker.

The defenders of these animals don't understand the effect on the entire society when such crimes are committed.
It makes everyone afraid, taking away a trusting part of our nature.
Death is the only fitting punishment for this crime.
