Great. Iran is enriching uranium so they can blow Israel (and someday us) up, and all the media can focus on is a hunting accident involving the VP that bears not one iota on his public service. Typical. I guess Islamist nuclear development won't be above-the-fold until a bomb actually goes off in one of our cities. Then maybe they'll wake up -- if only to blame Bush for it.

You know that in their secret back rooms the MSM is praying to whatever god they worship that Whittington dies.

Not 'interesting' at all.

It's just more evidence that the MSM WANTS the man to die so that they can call Cheney a murderer.

They are worse than ghoulish. They are downright evil.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (CNN) -- Authorities have cleared Vice President Dick Cheney of wrongdoing in the Texas shooting of a hunting companion, while reporters aimed tough questions at White House officials about their delay in disclosing the accident.

Please excuse my ignorance on this subject. My question is...

If there is anyone who 1.) doesn't have a 7 dollar hunting lisence in the state and (2.) accidently shoots someone and that someone (eventually) dies with proof that it was related to the accident, do they face manslaughter charges as well?

I know it may seem like a stupid question so please humor me and spell it out for me. = )

If he is in ICU, He is under intense watch. That may well be in his favor, Given the climate.
However, as for the death watch thing, I agree to a point.
If he died ( dies) within 72 hours ( or so ) of the initial accident, Then yes, A murder charge is warranted. If it can be attributed to the initial injury.
However, In a case of nature taking it's course, This is a 78 year old man.
There is is only so long one can hold a grudge. Then it is sheer mother nature.

Wow! If I wasn't reading a story about the possibility of a human being dying, I'd swear the NYT just experienced premature ejaculation all over the top of their own masthead.

It was unfortunate that Dick Cheney had to go and shoot a lawyer. Really.
He gets a lot of criticism for waiting several hours to tell the public about it.
I wonder how it would be if he were a Democrat, would he have spoken up any quicker?

This items looks at that possibility.

This is getting really stupid, really fast. That fellow looks like he's on the mend. He should stay in the hospital until he's ready, instead getting out and mugging for cameras for his pal Cheney's benefit, but the NYT is once again full of poop just like a lot of other big media outlets.
