Hannity & Colmes v. S.F. Democrat
FOX News | 02-14-2006 | Self

Posted on 02/14/2006 7:04:12 PM PST by Budge

Whatever you do, watch the rerun of Hannity & Colmes tonight. They are discussing the City of San Fransciscos declining to accept the U.S.S. Iowa as a memorial.

Democrats on parade! The person interviewed (a democRAT) claimed the United States should have NO MILITARY!

Even Allen disagreed with this person.

I saw one fool Hannity had on saying the ship Uss Iowa shouldn't be in their port because IT HAD GUNS ON IT! I turned the channel after that.

I see no need to ever spend a dime of my money in San Francisco.

Haven't in the past, no need to do it now.

I bet Hannity wanted to punch the guy in the face to see if he'd defend himself or roll over and beg for mercy.

I wish I could say that was unbelievable, but this is proof positive why we must keep leftists out of the White House. I wonder if the anti-American Sean interviewed would put on a U.N. uniform if asked.

Just caught this a few mins ago... I wasnt suprised that a law maker in San Franfreako would think like this... However, its pretty damm scarey that they are considered elected officials in Californiastan. This man wanted the police to defend us from foreign attack.. The cops are having enough trouble with domestic crime issues... This man probably would disarm out police if he had the chance to do so...

Californiastan- the land of fruits, nuts, and flakes

Wasn't "expose the left" formally known as "the political teen?"

Thanks for the link! Everyone should see this remarkable interview, it should be seen over and over!

I don't think that particular politician was from S.F., he was from some other place in Cal la-la land that was thinking of having the ship harbored there.

Nauseating!

Even his retorts were wrong!

He said: "So, are we going to put war symbols on our schools?"

Uuh... yes!?! Ever hear of Washington High School? Minuteman murals in schools?

I'm glad that he said it was about the money it would cost to house it and then said that, really, no amount of money grants would matter. When this story first broke, they said it was about the money it would cost to maintain it, and then they agreed to host an MTV Extreme Sports event that involved covering a hilly street with snow for a day.

Hannity's point was that the ship defend freedom from the fascist Japs and the evil Nazis and was therefore a symbol of freedom. And the evil left-winger comes up with "Yes, but it has GUNS on it"! I simply couldn't watch anymore.

Alan Colmes in many ways represents the better aspects of liberalism, before it was taken over by radicals. I disagree with most of his views, but he strikes me as being a decent, well-meaning person.

Remember "Make love, not war!"? Well that was back when we had a draft - what point are these fools trying to make now? When we are hit again, please make it SF first! San Francisco does not deserve any support from The US Military even if they have another 1906 type earthquake - let them clean it up themselves (deviants all).

No, I had only about six ounces before I saw the diatribe by the politician.

To make things even worse, I had just got done watching the diabribe by a gay US male figure skater badmouthing the Republican way of thinking on the Olympic channel. I turned on Hannity to get away from that fool and was quickly on to another fool.

That's the guy, mama!

It if wasn't for the weapons we had, we might not have won the war. Herman Goering said that if Germany would have had the .50 machinegun that John Browninng invented, they would have won the war.

Browning invented that gun in 1921. It was the most produced machinegun in WWII by the US. It saw service in fighter planes, six on most fighters and eight on the P-47. There was one on each tank. There were many on each ship.

That great gun is still in use to this day. What a remarkable invention!

And I come across an idiot who thinks guns are bad. He is too stupid to realize that his very freedom depended on guns in the right hands.

When I was a small child, back in the '50's, I used to watch the westerns. The bad guy had a gun. The good guy had a gun. The bad guy used his gun for bad purposes. The good guy used his gun to stop the bad guy.

I was aware, before I was 10 years old, that guns are neither good nor bad. The person using the gun was good or bad.

Rant off!

I have been following this sickening saga for some time.

Can you imagine what is running through my mind?

I did my last Midshipman Cruise (1953) in USS Iowa, immediately prior to accepting my commission as an Ensign; followed by a career as a naval aviator.

I remember San Francisco in the 50's as a glorious gem -- and incredible town, in every respect.

What 50 years has wrought. A very crazy world we now live in.

And very dangerous as well. It does not portend well for Western Democracy over the long term, in MHO. And, as for the City -- the nearest sewer will do quite nicely; thank you very much.

The United States should have no San Francisco airbrains.

If we could convince Pat Robertson to move there and start converting people in the Castro district, will they leave?

Like, say, to Paris?

They're call the Stupidvisors for a REASON..

To get elected in San Fransicko -- you must be either a "Gay" Fudge Packer, Lesbian, Marxist, idiot, alcoholic, drug addict or corrupt..

And -- San Fransicko is the only place on the Planet where it is possible to be all of the above at the same time....

Any obviously "straight" person who even thinks about having a meal or sleeping in a hotel room bed in San Fransicko -- really should reconsider their options...

Hell, just looking at some of the waiters and thinking of the bastard handling your food, is enough to make most folks sick.... I shudder to wonder what the freaks in the kitchen look like or are up to for self amusement....
